About our Institute Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in 1959 with a great vision to provide quality education to the masses in rural areas in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. The institute runs more than 21 colleges, 40 higher secondary schools and 25 schools. Of these, 7 colleges have been awarded as A grade in the third reaccreditation cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengluru and Three Colleges with Center for Potential with Excellence. Around 3000 teachers are engaged in teaching as well as research. Mandal has established institutes of engineering, managements, pharmacy and law along with traditional disciplines. The government of Maharashtra honored the M. S. P. Mandal as the Best Educational Institute in 2002.

About Deogiri College The first college founded by Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is recognized as a formidable centre for higher education in terms of both quality and quantity. The college is located in the heart of city in an eco-friendly campus of around 12 acres. It imparts education to around 14,000 students through well qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching staff providing maximum academic flexibility to the learners. Right from the foundation, the college is remarkable for teachers of high merit later on joining universities as professors, heads, registrars, BCUD director, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor. The college has secured leading score of 3.75 in the third cycle of NAAC Reaccreditation. Having availed UGC research projects, the college was also awarded as the College with Potential for Excellence and ISO certified institute. The affiliating university has recognized the college with Ideal Examination Center. Keeping the tradition of organizing state and national conferences, this international symposium is planned.

About the City Aurangabad has been quite famous historical city of 52 gates under Yadav, Mughal & Nizam dynasties. The city & the surrounding proclaim enrich historical heritage in Deogiri fort, a replica of Taj Mahal 'Bibi Ka Makbara' and Panchakki (Water mill).
