The awarded grants will support:

• The registration fee for the participation to the Spring School (€ 500,00) • Accommodation (∗) • Living (∗) • Travel expenses (covering or contribution)

Accommodation: 3-days double-room (arrival: May 26, 2015, departure: May 29, 2015) at Hotel Koper in Koper-Capodistria. The hotel is situated close to the sea and just 5 minutes walk from the classroom.

Living includes: • Breakfasts at the Hotel • Coffee-breaks • Lunches at Restaurant Pizzeria “Atrij” • Dinners at Restaurant of the Hotel Koper (with half-board hotel accommodation)

Travel expenses: will cover or contribute to the expenses from each student’s University to Koper-Capodistria as follows: Albania up to € 200; Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Macedonia, Slovenia(∗) up to € 100. Travel expenses will be reimbursed to the students upon presentation of documentation of travel expenses (i.e., tickets and boarding cards or highway receipts) together with the bank account data.

(∗) According to CEI rules, students coming from Slovenia are not eligible for the CEI scholarship awards. The scholarship awards for students coming from Slovenia will be granted by the SSIC-HECE - University of Trieste, and will include:

- the registration fee for the participation to the 6th edition Spring School, lunches and coffee-breaks for students from the University of Primorska; - the registration fee for the participation to the 6th edition Spring School, accommodation (2 nigths), living and travel costs, for students coming from the Universities of Ljubljana and Maribor.

Applications:

(♣) Applicant for the student scholarship awards must be a student who registers currently in one of the following Universities in the year of 2015:

• University “Maria Teresa” of Tirana (Albania) • Medical University of Graz (Austria) • University of Rijeka, University of Zagreb (Croatia) • University of Budapest (Hungary) • University of Trieste (Italy) • Jagiellonian University of Cracow (Poland) • University of Belgrad, University of Novi Sad (Serbia) • Technical University of Košice, Comenius University (Slovakia) • University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) • West University of Timisoara (Romania) • Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia) • University of Ljubljana, University of Maribor, University of Primorska (Slovenia)

Applicants should send a resume including a short CV indicating also the owned degree(s) and the grade point average. Prospective undergraduate students should list the passed university exams with the related scores and credits. Applications must be sent by e-mail to [email protected] BEFORE April 23, 2015. The applications will be judged by a committee of the Spring School Faculty members. The finalists will be notified by April 30, 2015. The decision of the Judging Committee as to the eligibility of any applicant and the winning applicant shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into in relation to eligibility and judging process.
