often stops you from even trying • Both will prevent you from achieving your

• Can be a driving force toward a goal, but often acts as a self-fulfilling prophecy
• The focus is all on the wrong thing - what we focus on is what we attract

WHAT CAUSES FEAR OF FAILURE?
• Living in the shadow of past failures and past traumas
• I always fail • I’m going to fail • I’m not worthy • I’m not capable

• Living in fear of future failure, not trusting yourself (Often driven by past stuff)
• If I fail, it will be painful • I’ll have further to fall if I succeed • It’s safer if I stay where I am • It’s easier to avoid success and failure

• Living in the past is continuing to suffer from old pain
• Depression • Living in the future is to cripple yourself
with a source of pain that doesn’t even exist

• Develop your intuition so you can easily recognize your feelings and behaviors for what they are
• Is this an appropriate reaction to the situation?
• Is this being driven by something else?

• Anytime you’re uncomfortable, emotional or feeling out of it, ask yourself:
• Who or what is driving? • Is it you? • Your baggage?

• What if it is you? • Is your thinking toxic? • Could just be bad habits • Helpful to realize where this came from • Often these are “tapes” or messages from
your childhood

TOXIC THINKING
• Train yourself to recognize toxic thought patterns
• Set firm and positive internal boundaries with yourself to stop immediately
• Brush it off and keep going - don’t fixate!

SELF-SABOTAGE
• Recognize when you’re sabotaging your own success
• Find out what’s causing this blockage • Find out what you need to do to keep
pushing forward and achieve your goal

• In order to achieve success, you need to have:
• Clear goals • Be in alignment with them • Have no blockages in the way

• Use common sense and intuition to decide which kind to use

• The idea that success will be overwhelming

become overwhelmed • The unknown is scary • I’m afraid of something else falling apart

• We all have bad habits and negative thought patterns, and it takes effort to change
• It takes awareness, removing the negative and a focus on the positive instead
• Anything is possible!

• Analyze why you haven’t done it, and work on it (using The Body Code and goal oriented and/or issue oriented questioning
• Make it into a SMART goal (Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, Time specific) and make it happen!
