PAST PERFORMANCE

Business Analysis & Systems Implementation Support Client: Freddie Mac (Subcontractor) Our consultants led requirements gathering, development of test plan and test cases, documentation, and UAT efforts for the Asset Valuation Calculator aspect of the AB 2012-12 project. We worked closely with systems analysts, developers, data architects, and business to ensure business and system requirements were clearly defined and accurately reflected in the application. Our consultants also developed mapping of new processes as it impacted the Loan Loss Reserve process. Controls of new processes were assessed as key or non-key based on upstream and downstream impacts. We validated and analyzed production results, documented assumptions, and developed desktop procedures.

Client: Freddie Mac (Subcontractor) A roll forward report was designed to capture monthly 2MP activity for the Single Family CFO area. We worked with data architects to understand the data, developed business requirements, and performed UAT on the standardized report to ensure the output was accurate.

Model Validation Client: FDIC (Subcontractor) NuvoLogic Consulting independently validated multiple iterations of the Terminations Workbook as it related to the Loss Share program within the Department of Resolutions and Receiverships. The Terminations Workbook was used to estimate a breakeven price the FDIC was willing to accept for early terminations of Shared Loss Agreements. It used the net present value method to estimate remaining recoveries, losses, and any true-up payments of each bank over the life of the loss share period. With each model enhancement, NuvoLogic Consulting assessed model functionality, accuracy of calculations, and reasonableness of impacts. Findings and recommendations were documented and presented to the client.

Project Management Client: The Oakleaf Group NuvoLogic Consulting was called upon to provide project management oversight for a litigation support project that was significantly behind schedule and lacked structure. The project was only 16% complete 3 weeks before the end of the project prior to our onboarding. NuvoLogic Consulting managed daily tasks and project metrics for a team of underwriters and management to ensure the project was kept on track within the tight time frame leading up to management’s deposition regarding credit underwriting practices of a large bank. We successfully met all deadlines.

Financial Analysis Client: Freddie Mac (Subcontractor) Analysis was performed to assess the impact of two different outputs (seasonally adjusted and non-seasonally adjusted collateral value) from the Distressed Asset Value Model (DAVM) on LLR severity. DAVM estimated collateral value for single family loans was compared to actual collateral severity . Data was bifurcated by various loan attributes, such as state, CLTV, vintage, loan product type, months delinquent. The impact assessment was used by management to evaluate periodic trends and determine which model version of DAVM would be better suited for use in monthly production.

Governance Client: Freddie Mac (Subcontractor) NuvoLogic ensured changes to EUCs, LLR and Valuation financial models were pursuant to SF model governance policies, corporate procedures, and internal controls. We monitored changes made, level of impact changes had on financials, and provided relevant documentation to support compliance with governance policies. Quarterly Financial Model Working Group meetings were facilitated to vet reasonability of all changes made to and impact of changes on SF models related to LLR, TDR, Valuation, and REO for use in corporate quarterly financials. Communication was coordinated with stakeholders across SF segments, including upper management, corporate controller, model owners, and internal controls.
