Responsible for the testing of samples, quality assurance for customer requirements for the complete interior production lines. ISO 9001/ TS-16949. Supervised 20 third party staff and all prototype vendors. Control Plan, reports, and database management as well as oversight of the Master Parts Matrix. Analysis of all identified issues using 8D/Problem Issue Resolution. Direct supervision of the prototype vendors. Maintained Corporate/Divisional/Plant wide ISO 14001/TS-16949 Certifications to ensure quality and safety Johnson Controls Corp 1997-2004 Supplier Quality Engineer, Earth City, MO 2002-2004 Developed New Supplier Relationships/Standards/Tracking. Supplier Parts Production Approval Process (PPAP) requirements, testing new supplied parts, samples QA, customer requirements for parts changes, MQR meetings on non-conforming parts and tracked to full resolution for each supplier. Dodge Ram 1500 interiors contract lost to Lear in 2004. ISO 9001, pre-assessment trainer, and lead auditor. Gold/Silver and Bronze Awards in Quality/Safety/Environmental Johnson Controls Corp Project Manager and Customer Liaison, Plymouth, MI 1997-2002 Led and supported the Ford Business Unit Launch design and implementation team with the Lincoln LS, Jaguar S, Voyager, F150 & F250 models. Directed all design and production validation testing for the models. Managed all internal and external customer databases and test criteria, Global Prototype inventories and scheduling. Distribution and Scheduling Prototype parts from three manufacturing plants in the US and Canada and seven U.S. Test Facilities. Tracked all to completion and provided reports to all the launch teams and customers. Personal recognition for having removed one year from the testing of prototype parts by changing the scheduling to a simultaneous process. Resulted in significant reduction of the number of prototype parts needed, lowering the required time to launch by a full year from 4 years down to 3. Millions of dollars of on going launch savings for this and all future programs across all business lines. Achieved the successful launch meeting the criteria of Zero injuries/Zero Defects/100% Production all within the 30-day post launch production goal at the corporate level.
