Did you know...?The March of the RAF Police was composed by RAF Musician Flt Lt D Stephens. Originally written for the RAF Police Dog Demonstration Team it was promulgated by Defence Council Instruction in 1968.The National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire is home to the RAF Police Memorial. Funded by former and serving members of the Force, it was dedicated on 23 Jun 2007.The Central Church of the RAF, St Clement Danes was presented with 2 ceremonial maces by the RAF Police in 1971. This presence has been enhanced by a RAFPA donation of a slate floor plaque that is set into the north aisle.The first Royal Review of the RAF Police was carried out by HRH The Princess Margaret at the RAF Police Depot Debden in Jun 1973. The second, conducted by HRH Prince Edward took place at HQ RAF Police, RAF Henlow in Sept 2008.

PROTECTIVE SECURITY: The organised system of defensive measures designed to protect information, material, personnel, activities and installations (JSP 440).
