What is APA Style?

APA stands for: American Psychological Association APA is most often used for organizing research in the

Sciences, especially the Social Sciences There are other styles (MLA, AFS, etc)

Why use APA (or any other style)?

Makes your research and resources easily understandable and accessible to your peers, teachers, and other researchers

Provides a means to give credit to others whose work you mention

Demonstrates your credibility and membership in your field or profession

Prepares your research for publication

running head title page, in-text citations reference list -- with at least 6 resources (3 scholarly

and 3 electronic). 

She is not requiring you to provide an Abstract or Indices.
