• One of the largest deals in the space of total value crossing 10m USD

• Scoping include performance management and training process also which adds more strategic dimension to overall engagement.

The relationship among P&G’s HR Services & Solutions Team (HRSS), and IBM and Cartus is exemplary. The P&G/IBM contract is 10 years old, and was recently renewed for another 7 years. The P&G/Cartus partnership is 6 years old and is likewise going strong. The partnership among three companies is the best in the globe for P&G. The team’s results have been recognized within P&G, as well as in the industry (HROA and the Forum for Expatriate Management).

This deal is one of the more complex in the HR outsourcing industry in Asia, serving 24,000 employees in 16 countries for Payroll, Tax, Benefits, Employee and Organization Data, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Travel Card, Expense Reimbursement, Contact Center and Project Management, and Relocation Services.

Both partnerships transcended operational provision of HR services, into a business enabler, through superior and consistent delivery of value-added services AND as strategic partnership to business units in P&G.

How are top employers using their employer/talent brand to attract, retain and engage employees:In February 2014, Hudson RPO in connection with SharedXpertise commissioned a primary market research with the goal of providing a “How to” guide for leveraging an employer/ talent brand. A series of one-on-one interviews were done among major corporations with a top talent brand. Results of these interviews were then incorporated into a quantitative large scale study. Key areas analyzed in this study include the definition of an employer/talent brand; importance of the brand, ownership, management, promotion and future plans for the employer/talent brand. The research will show current practices in each of these areas, as well as distinguish between the practices of those with top employer/talent brands vs. those without.

Alison Baird Managing Director, Alexander Mann Solutions

Alison has been with Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) for seven years. As well as leading the teams across the region, her primary focus, as Managing Director Asia Pacific, is in ensuring that the solutions Alexander Mann Solutions deploy are optimal, effective and constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients - with a specific focus on the changing landscape within Asia. Alison is a passionate believer that people are the foundation of success and plays a pivotal role in ensuring AMS recruits, engages and retains the very best talent in the region. Prior to this role, Alison led Alexander Mann Solutions’ relationship with an investment bank for one of the largest APAC multi country RPO solutions. With over 20 years’ experience in the talent acquisition and management industry, Alison has been responsible for developing and driving recruitment strategy, change projects and process re-engineering across multiple disciplines and industry sectors, including banking, engineering, healthcare and life sciences, professional services and telecommunications in both EMEA and APAC.

Julian BryantExecutive Director, Head HR Service Delivery, Asia Pacific

Julian joined J.P. Morgan in December 2012.

He has a 20 year international career in operations, program management and general management. He has held leadership roles in establishing global HR shared service functions and shaping global initiatives to deliver global HR applications and achieve HR business process outsourcing.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Julian worked at UBS for 13 years. He has also worked at Standard Chartered Bank and in the British Army.

Julian holds a Masters degree in Human Resources from Kingston University and is a graduate member of the CIPD.

Elliot Clark is the chairman and CEO of SharedXpertise Media, LLC, which he founded in 2006. Clark has had a long and distinguished career in the human resources services and technology industry. Prior to SharedXpertise, he was the chief operating officer of Kenexa Corporation (Nasdaq KNXA), a leading provider of HR software and services. He worked at Kenexa from 1991 until 2006 and was instrumental in growing the company from 12 to 1,200 employees. He oversaw corporate operations and directly managed the recruitment process outsourcing division. He led the Kenexa team to be named the top provider in RPO by multiple industry analysts and publications. As a key member of the executive team, he was deeply involved in 15 acquisitions, three private equity financings, and an IPO. He served on the Board of Directors of Kenexa from 1997 until 2006.

Clark is a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of Pennsylvania earning a B.S. Economics where he majored in human resources. He also served on the National Board of Directors of the Wharton Alumni Association from 1997 to 1998. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ehlers Danlos National Foundation and a member of the Board of Trustees of Michener Art Museum.

Barry Mehrman Senior Director, HR Business Partner, McDonald’s APMEA Franchising Pte Ltd.

Barry Mehrman is a Senior Director and HR Business Partner responsible for providing HR support and consulting to his North Asia markets. Additionally, he leads HR development for the APMEA region.

Barry started with McDonald’s as a part-time crew person while attending Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduating college he entered McDonald’s Management Training Program. Barry progressed through the restaurant management ranks to Operations Consultant in the Boston Region.

He joined McDonald’s Human Resources Department in the New Orleans Region as an HR consultant and Manager until moving into Corporate Human Resources in Oak Brook, Illinois.

In his Oak Brook role, Barry has led departments responsible for a variety of recruitment, retention and recognition initiatives including McDonald’s US employment strategy, restaurant people systems and the Ray Kroc Awards to name but a few.

In 2007, Barry assumed the role of Director of US HR development responsible for the design and delivery of Human Resources functional training. He also was co-lead for the US pilot and implementation of the current Performance Development System.

In 2010, Barry moved to Tokyo as an expat assigned to McDonald’s Japan as VP of the Human Resources Division. In this role he supported the Japan Chief HR Officer in the development of HR strategies and initiatives with a focus on talent management and restaurant people systems.

Barry joined the APMEA HR team in July 2012 and currently resides in Singapore with his wife, Ann.
