Sales Terms & Conditions As a fifth-generation, gifted interior and exterior designer, Amit Apel arrived on the sunny shores of Southern California in 1999 after having been raised in Africa, Israel and throughout Europe. Upon his arrival, Mr. Apel purchased a modest Honda Magnum motorcycle to travel across the USA for three months. After his adventurous, cross-country tour and with little means, he opened a humble, 100 sq. ft. art studio within a locksmith shop on the beaches of Malibu, California and instantly became a local, buzz-worthy artist. Mr. Apel’s acrylic and oil paintings that were showcased in this very small shop quickly catapulted into high demand by local, celebrity clients who still treasure his paintings and collect his growing body of art design works ranging from paintings, sculptures, jewelry, apparel and home and outdoor décor and furnishings. With his savvy entrepreneurial determination inspired by his passionate drive to design and produce as a way of life, Mr. Apel founded Amit Apel Design Inc.® in 2002. All you have to do is fill up the candle sphere, put some scented oil into the tray, and light up the fiberglass wick for hours of relaxing aromatherapy. Sales Terms & ConditionsOrder Notice: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Minimum Order = $100.00. Prices are subject to change without notice. Orders need to be emailed to orders@apeldesign.com or faxed to 310-919-3001. Only written orders are processed. Verbal orders are not accepted.

Order Payments: All Apel DesignWorks™ division orders are on Credit Card or Check Prepay Terms only with full payment in advance due at time of order unless otherwise approved by Amit Apel Design Inc.’s Corporate Studio Headquarters. For credit card orders, we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. When Apel DesignWorks™ receives authorization from the credit card company for the full amount of the order plus freight charges, Amit Apel Design Inc. will process an order. All payment checks should be made payable to “Amit Apel Design Inc.” A $30.00 additional NSF service fee will be assessed on all returned checks. A $25.00 change order fee will be added to an order if changes are made on order prior to shipping.

Backorders: Backorders will automatically be billed and shipped unless otherwise specified on order. Manufacturer’s Warranty: Apel DesignWorks™ offers a 30-Day Manufacturer’s Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on all products.

Shipping: All products without graphics production ship FOB from our Canoga Park, California warehouse and shipping facility within 1-2 business days of receipt of order. Orders will be packed and shipped in the most economical and efficient way unless otherwise specified.

Shipping Carrier: All orders are shipped via UPS on Amit Apel Design Inc.’s UPS account. We do not ship on 3rd party accounts without prior approval by Amit Apel Design Inc.’s Corporate Studio HQ’s. Should customer arrange for own or 3rd party shipping with Apel approval, any and all claims must be made directly by customer to customer’s carrier and a handling charge of $10.00 will be applied to order.

Sales Terms & ConditionsReturn Shipments: Apel DesignWorks™ does not accept unauthorized returns or freight collect. Only defective products may be returned. All returns must be pre-authorized by notifying Amit Apel Inc.’s Corporate Studio HQ’s and obtaining a Return Authorization number from our Customer Service Department. Claims for defective products must have an issued RA # or it will be refused upon delivery.

Limits of Liability: Apel DesignWorks™ is not responsible for products damaged during shipping unless shipped insured on our Apel UPS account. Should shipment via Apel’s specified carrier be lost or damaged in transit, Apel will replace said shipment at its discretion and at no charge to the customer. Apel will not be responsible for any incidental, outside claims for damages to the customer or their end user and re-shipment by Apel carrier will be the same class of method service originally requested on order by the customer. Should customer require expedited delivery service, additional shipping costs will be prepaid by customer. Return Shipments: Apel DesignWorks™ does not accept unauthorized returns or freight collect. Only defective products may be returned. Credit Disputes: Customer agrees to pay Amit Apel Design Inc. an interest rate amount equal to 1% per month, or the maximum provided by law (whichever is less) for invoice amounts that are past due. Should customer default in any such payment(s), Apel shall have the right, without notice to customer, to declare all invoice amounts due and payable. In the event that Apel should commence any legal action(s) or otherwise seek to collect payment from customer, the customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney(s) and/or collection agency fees, prior to, and subsequent to judgment entered by a court of law, and other expenses incurred by Apel, whether or not a suit is filed. Customer expressly waives the right to a jury trial. Venue for all disputes shall be held in the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles, California and/or Municipal Court County of Los Angeles, California.
