APP USER MANUAL

LOGIN / REGISTERYou can login or register to use some options of the app like the chat support.

1. On the main screen push the settings button (wrench icon) to access to the settings section.

1. If you don’t have an account yet push on REGISTER.

2. Complete the data fields. 2. Push on REGISTER to complete the process.

2. Scroll to profile section and push on user arrow.

3. If you already have an account fill the gaps with your data and push on LOGIN.

PAIR DEVICE TO YOUR BIKEIn this page you can consult the steps you have to follow the first time you connect your bike with the EIVA device.

1. Introduce the key in the lock and rotate it to the right (from “twelve” to “three”) to turn on the bike. Be sure that the bluetooth of your smartphone or EIVA device is ON.

5. Wait a few seconds until your bike code (RAYVOLT XXXX) appears on screen and then tap to connect the bike.

6. Touch accept. 7. Go back to the main screen of the app.

8. Check the status of the bike. It must appear the bluetooth icon connected. Next time APP will detect back automatically. If for some reason it doesn't t sync right away, simply press on bike status icon for quick connect.

2. On the main screen push the settings button (wrench icon) to access to the settings options.

3. On the settings screen scroll down until you see the connection type option (N/A for IOS) in the connection section. If bike is 2017 or newer, set connection type to LOW ENERGY. If bike is 2016, set connection type to NORMAL.

4. Tap on bluetooth.

EIVA is an app developed by Rayvolt. It allows you to configure the options and tech features of your bike like IPAS (Pedal Assist), aceleration, IRBS (Regenerative Brakes System), etc. as well as play your music or get access to routes and maps. It counts with a technical support chat to solve any problem you can find.

Touring somethin between Eco and Sport.

Torque only applies if your bike is fitted with the torque sensor.

Select SAVE if you want to save the changes permanently. The modifications will remain next time you turn on your bike.

Select SEND if you want to apply the changes just for the current use. This modifications will not remain next time you use your bike. The settings will be what you saved (SAVE Button) last time or default.

CHANGE ADVANCE SETTINGSIf you want to customize your ride experience, first choose the preferred drive mode, then go to advanced settings to customize drive mode to the finest settings. If you change to much and don t know how to put it back. Simply go the drive mode from Chapter 5

This scroll bar adjust the acceleration of the bike without affecting the power output. Delay the power delivery progressively to achieve ultra smooth ride or ultra responsive power. 50% will be very smooth while 100% will be ultra responsive. 100% is very strong and is harder on the rear frame and motor shaft. We recommend value between 60 and 80 for a good power / smoothness balance.

Adjust the top speed allowed by the motor.Great to limit speed for beginners or parent control.

MAXIMUM SPEED

Adjust motor torque by adjusting the Amperage output of the battery. Lower value will give you more range. Higher value will give you more torque. We recommend current from 10 to 15.

RBS is the regenerative breaking Amperage input of the battery. Lower value will give smooth regenerative brake with low recharge. Higher value will give strong regenerative brake with high recharge. For optimum battery durability and balanced brakes, we recommend from 15 to 25 if you have the standard battery and 20 to 35 if you have the dual battery.

Allow user to enable or disable the Regenerative Breaking.

Allow user to enable or disable the Pedal Assistance.

PAS

Allow user to enable/disable throttle. (This function is only available for certain countries where regulations allows it).

In order to display correct speed, adjust wheel size according to your bike.

Choose your battery voltage. If you keep original battery on the bike, make sure it always remained at 48V.

VOLTAGE

Press save if you want to save those settings in the ROM. The bike will keep those settings even after turning off and back on. You will always be able to save new settings after.

Press send if you want to upload those settings to bike temporally, once bike is turn off and back on settings will be back to factory settings.

This scroll bar switches the scale of the PAS gears from main screen. We put is standard at 65 to make sure you always have assistance. If you want to feel a better difference between the gears, lower this value. This is quite an advance setting that really depends on the bike you are using, the weight of the rider and the cycle environnement. We suggest to keep this value at 65 unless you know what you are doing.

LIVE SUPPORT If you have any issue with settings or need additional information, our APP is equipped with a live support chat as well as remote connection to you bike through your Android phone or EIVA device. (Remote connection not supported on IOS).

5. If your problem persist push on the menu button and then on SUPPORT. If you allow it the support team will conect with your device by Teamviewer to solve the issue.

TROUBLE SHOOTING WITH EIVA STATUS ICONIf there is any trouble with your bike the app will show you some of the most common issues.

OVER VOLTAGE OVER HEAT

Your bike electronic is in good order.

Check battery settings and make sure it is at 48V unless you replaced battery with a 36V. If still having issue, your battery might have overcharged due to wrong charger or isn t working properly. In the case go to live support (chapter 7).

Motor is equipped with a heat sensor, so if it gets too hot, controller will have a safety cutoff until it cools down.

Your device is not connected to the bike. Press the bike icon to connect. If still not connecting, turn bike off and back on and then press icon. If still having connection issue, go back to pairing on chapter 2.If still having issue with pairing contact us on the live support (chapter 7).

Your bike is detecting the brake sensor signal. If you are not using the brakes but you see this icon, adjust the brake sensor clockwise until the icon disappears. If still having issue with pairing contact us on the live support (chapter 7).

Your throttle is maybe unplugged or is having technical issue. Check throttle connection inside the tank cover. Remember to always turn bike off before plugging / unplugging wire. If still having issue with pairing contact us on the live support (chapter 7).

You runned out of battery. Please recharge. If your battery is full, please check that the battery settings in advance settings is set to the correct parameter 48V (unless you replace original battery with a different spec).

MUSIC AND GPSEIVA allows you to access to satellite maps and listen your music.

1. Turn your device around and and remove the screws from the cover.

2. Introduce in the corresponding slot a card with your music.

1. On the main screen push on the locator button to access to GPS.

2. The app will show you a map screen with your location. Push the green icon to see all the options.

3. Select the option you like. You can see your location, plan a route, update and download maps.

4. In this section you can choose among artists, videos, songs and playings.

5. Play and enjoy your music.
