The program may also include up to 10 credits of supporting coursework and no more than 6 credits of 300-400 level courses for thesis work, 9 credits for project work or a total of 10 credits for transfer work. Timing varies per student but averages two years. Students taking background courses may take longer. Typically students complete 10-18 credit hours per semester (the average is 12, which is also a required minimum for international students).
