Sri P. Ramamohan Rao, President
Born in 1942 in Sanjamala of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, he obtained his
B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Agricultural College, Bapatla and his M.Sc (Agriculture)
from IARI, New Delhi in the year 1962. He then joined ITC Limited. After working
for 35 years in its tobacco division and Agri business division, he retired in the year
2000 as the Managing Director of an ITC group company. He was the Vice-
President of Vasavi Academy of Education from 1988 to 1993 and from 1993
onwards, he is the president of the Vasavi Academy of Education and thereby for all
the Institutions being run by the Vasavi Academy of Education.
Sri M. Krishna Murthy, Vice-President
A graduate in Commerce, he is an Industrialist, engaged in the manufacture of
paints. He is a founder member of the Vasavi Academy of Education and was its
Treasurer. Presently he is the Vice-president of the Vasavi Academy of Education
and thereby for all the Institutions being run by the Vasavi Academy of Education.
He is a member of the Governing Body of Jubilee Hills Education Society for the last
18 years and also is connected with many other similar organizations.
Sri P. Balaji, Secretary
Born in 1961, he obtained his M.Sc. (Agriculture) from the Punjab Agricultural
University, Ludhiana in the year 1984. He has been the Secretary of Shri
Hanmantaraya Educational and Charitable Society from 1986. This society has
sponsored several educational institutions like Pendekanti Public School, PVS
Industrial Training Institute and Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Banaganapalle besides
launching projects like the Child Sponsorship Project and the District Primary
Education Project. From 1993 onwards he has been the Secretary of the Vasavi
Academy of Education and therefore of all the six institutions being run by the
Academy. From 1991 till date, he has been the Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Private
Polytechnics Managements Association. He has been the Joint Secretary of Andhra
Pradesh Private Engineering Colleges Managements Association from 1998 to 2004
and is at present the Secretary of the Association.
Sri K.V.Rangaiah, Joint Secretary
He passed B.E (Elect) from Madras University in the year 1950. A former Chief
Engineer of A.P. State Electricity Board, he retired as the General Manager of
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. During his service in APSEB, he had
undergone training in Switch Gear in Brown Boveri, Switzerland for one year 1965-
66. He went as a member of the NTPC delegation to Russia two times, once in 1985
and a second time in 1986 for discussion on 400kv transmission line contracts. He
is a specialist in investigation, planning, construction, operation and maintenance of
transmission lines and substations up to 400kv and also in distribution lines from
L.T. to 33 kv. He was a member of the Governing Body of Vasavi Academy of
Education and Vasavi College of Engineering. Presently he is the Joint Secretary of
Vasavi Academy of Education and thereby for all the institutions being run by the
Academy.
Sri P.V.Ratnam, Treasurer
Born in 1937, he passed SAS (Railways) in first chance, FICWA (M-2813), FCS
(2089) (Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India) and
Diploma in I.B.M.1401. He held several senior positions in Government and Private
Sectors, such as Accountant in Hindustan Steel Limited, Bhilai; Assistant Accounts
Officer in BHEL, Hyderabad; Controller of Accounts; Financial Adviser; Deputy
General Manager; General Manager (Finance); and Adviser (Finance) in National
Mineral Development Corporation Limited (A Government of India Undertaking).
After retirement, he also worked as Company Secretary and General Manager
(Taxation) in Sirpur Paper Mills Limited, Hyderabad from July 1996 to June 2001.

11 Grievance Redressal Mechanism for Faculty, Staff and Students
A Grievance & Redressal Committee with Vice-President, Academy of Education as Chairman and Principal, one Senior Faculty from college as members has been constituted.
The aggrieved member of teaching /non-teaching staff or student shall make a written representation to the Principal through proper channel.
Principal shall examine the merits of the case and forward the same to the committee.
The Committee shall examine the issue and make recommendations to the College Management for further necessary action.
The grievance shall be relevant only to the individual affecting his / her performance.
Matters concerning academic /administrative policies shall not be entertained.

Student Feedback: Feedback from the Final Year students passing out from the College as well as those passed out earlier (Alumni) is being taken to ascertain their views/suggestions for college development, viz., infrastructure & library support, teaching – learning process, value added programmes conducted by college, guidance to their juniors, etc. On Faculty performance A formal student feedback system regarding faculty performance is in vague for the last five year. Under this system, Feedback in a structured form is obtained from all the students twice in a year to evaluate teaching-learning process in respect of the subjects taught by each faculty. Each parameter is quantified and rated on a 4-point rating scale. After compilation, the summary of the feedback showing their rating against each parameter and the overall rating against the ‘set threshold level‘ is communicated to the respective faculty to strive for improvement in the parameter rated below threshold level. A copy or the student feedback form on faculty performance is enclosed for reference at Annexure – 1 A The Osmania University (our affiliating University) also collects feedback from the students on academic performance such as, conducting classes as per timetable, quality of teaching, completion of syllabus on time by a teacher, library facilities etc., and communicate the observations.
