Planned developments which would affect patronage?
The proposed new Civic Square opposite Town Hall will increase the focus on the building as a performance venue.
Long term closure of other venues in the City (e.g. Sydney Opera House) will increase its level of use.
What changes could be made to increase utilisation?
Increased capacity e.g. more venues would increase functionality and utilisation
Improved accessibility access, larger loading docks and load in areas could improve the turnover time between events, allowing for increased levels of use.

Venue Name: Piramma Park
Venue Category: Outdoor Space Suburb: Pyrmont . NSW
Pirrama Park (formally known as The New Park at the Former Water Police Site) on Sydney’s waterfront is a public parkland for local users and the wider community. The Park has recently undergone refurbishment and now provides multiple new paths and a waterfront promenade around the Pyrmont foreshore, linking in the 14km network of open space extending from Glebe to Rushcutters Bay. It re‐instates the direct historic relationship between Harris Street and the Harbour and creates a new public square at the water’s edge. Significant marine engineering is proposed to create a sheltered bay and reveal the former shoreline, to create passive recreation opportunities at the water’s edge and strengthen the site’s historic relationship to Sydney Harbour.
