Appetite aims to get more people in Stoke-on-Trent to experience and be inspired by the arts. Appetite is supported by funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England as part of the Creative People and Places programme.
Appetite is led by New Vic Theatre in partnership with B Arts, Brighter Futures, Partners in Creative Learning and Staffordshire University. It is also supported by Stoke City Council.
We would like to thank our local, regional, and national partners as well as the consortium members, Appetite Builders, artists, community groups, volunteers and anyone else we missed off the list for being such an important part in making quality events happen across the city.
And finally a big thank you to everyone for coming to see our events and supporting Appetite.
We hope to see you again very soon!
Thank You!
The New Vic is proud to lead the Appetite programme. I was overwhelmed by the response of local people to last year’s Taster Menu and know that this year’s events will help make our region a more vibrant place to live and work, and most importantly give us some spectacular things to enjoy this summer in Stoke-on-Trent. Alongside our partners in the programme, I look forward to seeing you there.”
Theresa Heskins, Artistic Director, New Vic Theatre

Do you want to see a fire breathing dragon, Britain’s smallest music venue, circus in the city centre, a burning boxing ring, a pop-up café, an outdoor photography gallery or a poetry takeaway? That’s just a taster of what Appetite’s three year programme is serving up over the next few months so come along and enjoy it.
Most events are free but some you will need to get tickets for, so look through our programme and pop some dates in your diary.
