ENTRYREQUIREMENTS

(a) hold a recognized Professional Diploma, Higher Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (or a recognised equivalent) in the disciplines of logistics, transport, shipping, operations, business or trade awarded within HKU system through HKU SPACE (or other recognized institutions); AND(b) provide evidence of English proficiency, such as: • HKDSE English Language at Level 2; • HKCEE English Language at Level 2; • HKCEE English Language (Syllabus B) at Grade E (Grade C in the case of English Language (Syllabus A)); • A score of 6.0 or above in the IELTS or a score of 500 in the paper-based TOEFL, a score of 173 in the computer-based TOEFL and a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English;AND(c) have 2 years of full-time work experience in the area of logistics, transport, shipping, operations or trade.

There will be two semesters in an academic year. Students will normally take 3 modules in each semester. For each regular module, 15 hours of lectures will be delivered by Plymouth staff in a block weekend, others by local teachers on either weekday evenings or Friday evenings,

Saturday afternoons / evenings. All lectures of enhancement modules will be delivered by local teachers. Students are required to pass all 9 modules in order to graduate. Students may complete this programme in a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of 5 years.

This top-up degree programme aims to develop your understanding of current management issues through contemporary case studies, government legislation as well as philosophical, ethical and environmental debates. Application form can be downloaded from our website.Applicants are required to complete the application form and submit together with the following fees and documents to our enrolment counters at any HKU SPACE campus or learning centre:• Copy of HKID Card / Student visa• An application processing fee of HK$150 (non-refundable). Fees paid by crossed cheque or bank draft should be made payable to “HKU SPACE”• Educational qualifications (e.g. HKCEE/HKALE Certificate, Diploma Certificate) with transcripts showing details of results obtained. Please note that these documents must be “Certified True Copies”. Applicants who submit their application in person at the following enrolment counters may have copies of their academic transcripts certified by HKU SPACE free of charge. Please bring originals for verification.
