Appendix 2 Package Drop Test2-1 Purpose The purpose of this test is to evaluate whether packaging is sufficient to protect the LCD monitor
against shock resulting from accidental drop page during transport.
2-2 Evaluation standard1. Prior to package drop test(1) Visual inspection
Check that parts and case are free of contact, friction, deformation and scratches.(Pay particular attention to circuit boards and sheet metals.)
(2) Inspection of functions and performance • Ensure that product meets functional and performance standards in all respects. • Ensure that no screws are loose.2. After package drop test(1) Visual inspection
Check that parts and case are free of contact, friction, deformation and scratches.(Pay particular attention to circuit boards and sheet metals.)
(2) Inspection of functions and performance • Ensure that product meets functional and performance standards in all respects. • Ensure that no screws are loose.
2-3 Test procedure1. Perform the checks as described in section 2-2 Evaluation standard, both before and after
package drop test.2. Environmental consideration: Normal room temperature (17-25°C) and humidity (30-70%)3. Conduct the drop test in the sequence below. (Regarding bottom face of product as FRONT face.)
