Conventions

- Europarque is the largest Congress Centre in Portugal and is characterized by the flexibility of its

space, enabling the organisation of the most diverse initiatives at several scales.

- Exponor has a flexible congress centre prepared to be a support of trade fairs.

- Palcio de Cristal is one of the icons of Porto. It is now being recovered and extended to allow

larger congresses. In three years AEP will manage this venue that was originally conceived to

receive the first international trade fair, organized by AEP in 1856.

- Fecomrcio-SP Convention Centre is managed by Exponor Brasil. It is located in S.Paulo,

the business capital of South America.

Trade Fairs and Exhibitions

EXPONOR - Porto International Fair whose experience in organizing events dates back to 1856, hasbranch offices around the world and organizes over 50 fairs every year for different sectors of activities inEurope, Africa and South America.

It was the first Portuguese trade fair organizer certified by the ISO 9001 and is still one of the few, on aninternational level, which can boast this recognition. It is member of the Board of UFI - The Global

Association of the Exhibition Industry and, at present, 17 of its fairs are considered UFI Approved

EXPONOR manages the organization of fairs which take place on a total of 100,000 m2 of coveredexhibition area, of wich 60 000 m2 at EXPONOR and 40 000 m2 at EUROPARQUE, both in the outskirts ofOporto city.

In Brazil, we created in 1999 Exponor Brasil, responsible for the most important Wine Fair of SouthAmerica: Expovinis Brasil.

AEP Foundation was set up in November 2009 by 52 Founders, mainly composed

by Companies, Banks and Higher Education Institutions. The Foundation aims atpromoting entrepreneurship and spreading knowledge in the field of businesssciences.

AEP Foundation is committed to promote not only Meetings, Congresses andSeminars, but also studies towards the accomplishment of the above-mentioned

objectives.
