A SPECIAL REPORT ONThe Crisis in the Middle East(Israel/Palestinians)

Israeli soldiers are pinned down by Palestinian snipers in a narrow street when a 10-year-old Palestinian boy comes up to them who is strapped with high explosives, the boy-bombis exploded and the building collapses on the Israeli's, killing 13, wounding dozens. Thishappened just days ago, one of many nightmare scenarios that Israelis faced with each day.

Do the Palestinians have a grievance? They may, in this kind of bloodfest everyone onevery side has grievances; but the Palestinians have not won me over. I can remember alltoo well how after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings and thePentagon that the Palestinians were dancing in the streets, celebrating and cheering for themurder of thousands of Americans, while in Israel that nation lowered their flag to halfmast and mourned with us.

Whose side would I take? Three guesses.

Do we have to take sides? I believe so because we and Israel are going to end up beingthrust together by virtue of the fact that we will suffer in common and from a commonenemy.

The White House, as of Friday morning, April 15, 2002 is referring to "suicide bombers"as being, "homicide bombers." This distinction is more than appropriate for this is murder,

plain and simple, and there is no justification for this bestial behavior.

I' m writing this "Special Report" to address this current crisis and to share those historicfacts that have recently come into view, things that I did not know about hitherto or knewabout only in very vague terms. In watching and listening to various TV news shows andMichael Savage's Radio show (he is well versed in history) I've picked up gems ofinformation that make the issues in the Middle East easier to understand.

I do NOT personally have a Word from JESUS about these things, except what I'vealready shared in the main part of this April Newsletter, Rather, I have some insights andsome opinions about what is being seen day by day via the News Reports of the fightingin the Middle East between Palestinian gunmen and the Israeli Army.

THE DANGER OF APPEASEMENT: Yasser Arafat has learned that terror pays and solong as we (America and the world) try to accommodate him as he engineers the murderof innocent civilians, we are risking encouraging the spread of terrorism worldwide as avalid means to achieve desired ends. Today it is Israel, tomorrow it could be New YorkCity, Boston, Cleveland, Chicago, Seattle, Paris, London - you name it. What then if weend up encouraging the spread of this vile, murderous behavior? What will we do then?

President George W. Bush clearly defined the definition of a terrorist and Yasser Arafatmore than anyone is the perfect example of that definition and yet now the President wants

That I know by the SPIRIT OF GOD and recognize George W. as being God's man doesnot mean I will agree with everything he does or says. In this area he is heading for trouble.

Let us take a look at the little bit of the history I have on and about Yasser Arafat and thePalestinian movement.

1.) Yasser Arafat is a Marxist. He sat in one the ultra secret meetings in the Kremlin inNovember of 1979 when the then Soviet Communist top leaders were making plans for aSoviet invasion of Israel, the annihilation of the Jews and a Nuclear attack on the U.S.

I picked up on the Marxist orientation of Arafat in listening to Dr. Savage - apparently thePLO has a website that openly avows Marxism. When I heard this recently I rememberedreading (years earlier) about Arafat's presence in the planning meeting in the Kremlin in1979 that aimed for the eradication of Israel and world nuclear war.

A Jewish lawyer named Cohen recently appeared on TV (Fox TV News) alongside of arepresentative of Hamas (an Iranian-backed terrorist group in the Middle East that sends"homicide bombers" to kill Jewish civilians in Israel) who was representing U.S.Palestinians in a lawsuit against Israel.

Days ago I listened to a telephone interview (on Fox TV News) with an American Jewishwoman who has spent that past two weeks in Arafat's headquarters, who sides with Arafatagainst Israel, who repeated Palestinian propaganda like a parrot.

Jews who side with murderers who promote (by defending) the outright murder of Jews issomething hard to grasp. However, once I learned that Arafat is a Marxist I understood iteasily. These Jews are Marxists, and their allegiance is to Satan/Lucifer — they are suicidaland serve an unGodly agenda of death and destruction. Truth is, "if' Israel were wiped out(exterminated) by these terrorists, these same Jews who back them today would be next ontheir list to be murdered. The madness is this - these Jews probably know this and yet theyback those who would murder them at their earliest convenience.

2.) In the Balfour agreement of 1922 (implemented in the League of Nations by GreatBritain) the Arabs were given the east side of the Jordan River and the Jews the west sideof the Jordan River. Until this time there was no such thing as a "Palestinian State."

The arabs that elected to stay inside the west bank with the Jews were accepted by the Jews.The Jews that wanted to stay in the east bank areas from the Jordan among the arabs were

murdered by the arabs. The west bank areas from the Jordan river that the Palestinians aredemanding today was never their land.

3.) When Israel was recognized as a sovereign state in 1949 the arab nations around Israeltold the arabs in Israel to leave their homes and when the war was over they could go backto them and that they could have the homes of the Jews (as they would be all dead by then).

These arabs that left their homes on this advice found themselves dispossessed when Israelwon the war after the arab nations that attacked Israel were soundly defeated in battle.

This dispossessed group of arabs have since become known as the Palestinians.

4.) In 1970, under Yasser Arafat's leadership, the Palestinians became as numerous in theState ofJordan as the Bedouins that peopled Jordan. Arafat led a Palestinian armed uprisingthat tried to take over Jordan and seize the throne of King Hussein. In September, 1970 theJordanian response (later to be called Black September) led to the slaughter of 30,000Palestinians.

5.) The Palestinians moved into Egypt following this military defeat at the hand ofJordanian arabs. After ten months of stirring up trouble in Egypt, the Egyptians drove thePalestinians out of Egypt.

6.) The Palestinians ended up in Lebanon and here Arafat burned Beirut for three years(terrorist attacks).

The history of this people stretches back to Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis 16: 11 and 21: 3)and from that time to this time there had been nothing but trouble between them. As it isgiven in Galatians 4. 29,

"But as then he that was born after the flesh (Ishmael) persecuted him that was born afterthe Spirit (Isaac) , even so it is now. "

Those of us in Christ who are led of by the HOLY SPIRIT will face the same kind ofpersecution from the children of the flesh. This problem in the Middle East is ages old and

no man or nation or nations can of themselves resolve the trouble apart from God andGod's help.

7.) Yasser Arafat is the man who not onl y originated the idea of hijacking airliners to gainpolitical objectives but trained and led his people in this terrorist activity.

8.) Yasser Arafat is the man who originated the idea of suicide or homicide bombing, morehe has built schools in Palestinian areas that teach children (from kindergarten up) the joyof becoming a human-bomb to kill Jews. He teaches this, finances it, commands it as theleader of Palestinians.

9.) In the year 2000 Beastman Clinton worked a deal to get 97% of the territory Arafat wasseeking from Israel, half of Jerusalem would be given to them for their capitol -- this wasa dream come true. Arafat responded by launching a massive wave of terrorist attacks onIsrael killing Israeli's week by week. It was obvious that his agenda had nothing to do withestablishing a Palestinian State, his objective became crystal clear - he was out to eradicateevery Jew in Israel and obliterate the Israeli Nation.

More, Arafat was needling the Jews with constant murderous attacks to get a response, amilitary one, to the ends of seeing his own people butchered in a war to gain more politicalclout.

LIBERAL SUPPORT OF PALESTINIANS and THE MARXIST CONNECTION:

So much of this behavior visible in the Palestinian camp under Arafat makes no sense thatif you try and see things from the point of view that Palestinians want a home (nation) thatyou miss the whole point. The people in control, the people supporting this king ofterrorism, Yasser Arafat, care nothing for the Palestinians and only see them as a means toan end. The ends is a thing called the "new Marxism", a term coined by Patrick Buchananin his new book, "The Death of the West." To quote page 78-79:

"In 1930, a renegade Marxist and admirer of the Marquis de Sade, Max Horkheimerdirected the Frankfurt School to retranslate Marxism into cultural terms. The old battlefieldmanuals were thrown out, and new manuals were written. To old Marxists, the enemy wascapitalism, to new Marxists, the enemy was Western culture (the Judaic/Christian cultureof the west). To old Marxists, the path to power was the violent overthrow of the regime, asin Paris in 1789 and in St. Petersburg in 1917. To the new Marxist, the path to power wasnonviolent and would require decades of patient labor.. Victory would cane only afterChristian beliefs had died in the soul of Western Man. And that would happen only after theinstitutions ofculture and education had been captured and conscripted by allies and agentsof the revolution. Occupy the cultural institutions of the West... and it would fall without afight. For old and new Marxists, however, the definition of morality remained: whatadvances the revolution is moral, what obstructs it is not... When Ronald Reagan famouslyblurted that the Soviets, "reserve to themselves the right to lie, steal and cheat," he hiton a truth that an honest Marxist would not... contest. " (Unquote)

How do I see a connection to Arafat and Palestinian behavior? Arafat lies, steals and cheats

with the kind of skill common to Marxists and since he is also from the old school ofMarxists and he murders Jews with hidden delight.

The liberals in Israel and the United States advanced the idea that they could get peace bygiving the Palestinians land, but when they negotiated to that end, Israel got homicidebombers galore and incessant attacks by various terrorist organizations.

It is becoming obvious that support for Palestinians and Arafat is coming more and morefrom our Universities - again the liberal faction is sounding off loudly in favor of Arafat andagainst Israel. The Media bias has been visible all along; Dr. Savage likes to refer to CNNthese days as being the "Crescent News Network," MSNBC is not much better and only FoxNews (cable TV) presents more of a balanced view.

So why are the liberals and new Marxists stirring up hatred and opposition to Israel? Israel,and the Jewish people, are a cornerstone of the Western world's culture right alongside ofChristianity. The eradication of Western culture is the primary objective of the new Marxistsand Arafat being from both the old and new school of Marxism pursues both objectives.

Arafat is working any way he can to get into a position where he could effectively annihilateevery Jew in Israel, this is the most obvious thrust of what he had been doing all along, thisis his vocation, the heart of who and what he really is.

Arafat has been going on Arab TV and in front of western journalists saying he condemnsthese terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians but when he goes on Arab TV speaking in Arabiche incites renewed attacks on Israel and praises the Martyrs. In fact, theevidence/documentation found by Israeli troops as they took most of Arafat's compoundreveals that Arafat has been paying for the explosives, the training and has directedPalestinians to go blow themselves up in the midst of Israeli civilians. This man, Arafat, notonly originated the idea of homicide bombers, he is commanding the attacks even now.

When Secretary of State Colin Powell arrived in Israel he was greeted by a homicidebombing (this time a Palestinian woman) that killed 9 and injured 84, blood and gutscovered the square in Jerusalem. The Palestinian terrorist organization claimingresponsibility for this terrorist attack was the one headed by Arafat. This same day, Israelisecurity discovered and prevented a homicide bomber from attacking Colin Powell'smotorcade -- another little greeting card from the terrorist Arafat. Yet Colin Powell will beseeing Arafat later today - who can figure it.

The God Factor

One thing is obvious to me, what is going on in the Middle East is pure madness and defiesany kind of reason one can sum up. In fact, the Devil is right in the middle of this nightmareand is stirring up death and destruction for all concerned.

I'm aware that there are decent Palestinians living in this area who are as much victimizedby this evil elf named Arafat as are the Jews in Israel. The Palestinians have been immersed

The Gad Factor continued in a death culture have become captive to it. Unless

they are freed of that stain of death it will infect almost all of them.

The situation in the Middle East is clearly beyond the ability of men to resolve, try as theymay. Why? Because the Devil is in control of too many of the key events transpiring in theMiddle East at this time.

What I do know is that the LORD our GOD is not far from this situation and I know fromwhat He has shown me in the past that GOD will defend Israel against all comers. Iwouldn't want to be on the side of those against Israel - GOD will fight them and He will(as He has in the past) empower the Israeli nation to triumph.

PERSPECTIVE

What we need keep in mind is that for the past 18 months (since September, 2000 whenClinton got the Israeli's willing to yield so much to the Palestinians) Israel has been attackedby the Palestinian terrorists week by week and just weeks ago it reached a level where theywere being hit by two homicide bombers A DAY. If you take the number of Israeli citizenskilled since September, 2000 and by percentage look at how many Americans would havedied if we were being attacked like this - then 55,000 Americans would have perished at thehands of these terrorists in the past 18 months.

"If" we had a nation on our border that sent terrorists at us every day for 18 months whatdo you think we would do about it? I doubt if America would have waited 18 months andlikely many Americans would be calling for the nuking of that nation which is attackingus.

One thing for sure, B-52's dropping 35,000 pound bomb loads on those who sent terroristswould be a certainty, that and then daisy cutters (a 15,000 pound bomb) would be dropped -as we have done and are doing in Afghanistan.

The Israeli's have shown considerable restraint and for a long time. Even now, though thedestruction and havoc wreaked in the Palestinian towns is horrific, it is no where near ashorrific as it might be.

One ofArafat's top officers with him made the statement recently that they are winning thewar against Israel because the death ratio of Palestinians to Israeli's killed is now 3 to 1,whereas in years past it was 7 to 1. The Arafat people see that as a sign that they arewinning! They fail to recognize that the Israelis' are more restrained than they have beenin the past and see that as a sign of weakness. When you are dealing with people that thinklike this mercy is lost on them. The terrorists are merchants of death.

The Christian Possibility

On the morning TV News today from some former government man was asked if the U.S.should send troops to Israel on a peacekeeping mission to separate the Palestinians fromthe Israeli's. My first thought was, "No way!" He confirmed it by saying, "If you did youmight as well pin a note of the backs of our soldiers that says, "Shoot ine ", because thatis what is going to happen."

"IF", and this is a big IF", if the Church was dedicated to day and night intercession,asking God's help and Holy Spirit Presence to quell the violence in the Middle East, itwould be an excellent start to unraveling the bloodfest that is now consuming that regionof this world.

I do not perceive that prayer alone would end the murdering and killing that is now a dailyevent in the Holy Land; rather it would serve to mitigate and keep the blood letting undercontrol, with the hope of moving it towards a genuine peace that both sides would desire,seek and keep. Right now it is an eye for an eye, it is war pure and simple.

We have re-introduced the prayer for peace in the Middle East for both Israeli's andPalestinians in our new DAILY PRAYER SHEET. It is a start. What else the Lord mayhave us do, we don't know, but at least we are back to praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

PALESTINIANS and MOSLEMS: While some Palestinians are Moslems, not all are,many are Christians. Christians would NOT become suicide/homicide bombers because weknow that to do so would earn us a place in hellfire, not heaven. The Moslems are the onesdeluded into thinking that the suicide murdering of Israeli's will get them heaven.

Here in America two Moslem leaders have come forth to condemn the homicide bombingsagainst Israeli - that is it -just two! All the rest are silent or are recruiting Moslem warriorsor raising funds to support the terrorists.

I perceive that the majority of Moslems are not murderous in heart, not inclined to this kindof evil; but the murderous ones are very potent and smother out all reason and all desire toseek a genuine peace - what they want is war and to bathe themselves in the blood ofIsraeli's.

Well, they got war and now they are screaming "murder" — but in truth they brought thisdown on themselves. As Herb-ABRAHAM used to say, "Ifyou fool with the bull, you willget the horn ", Palestinians are getting the horn.

All of a sudden, Hikmet got up; and beforeI knew what had happened, he hit me so hard I fell to the floor. When I got over theshock, I asked him why he had hit me. He replied that my face looked like the face ofan angel, and it angered him.

Anyway, the point of all this is to demonstrate that a true Christian cannot peacefullyco-exist with a person of the Muslim faith. I loved Hikmet, and I tried to live peacefullywith him, but it didn't matter what I did or how I felt. I didn't preach at him, I just triedto live my faith in the Lord. It was my faith and the presence of the Holy Spirit in me thatHikmet Could not stand. He told me that the only thing that would change things would be ifI converted to Islam. I, of course, would not do that.

Our marriage lasted for three years after I accepted the Lord before we finally divorced.I lived with persecution on a daily basis during that time, but I also experienced some ofthe greatest blessings I have ever known. The Lord has since blessed me with a Christianhusband and a wonderful family. So, if anyone tries to tell you, including any brotheror sister in Christ, that we believe in the same God or that we can live peacefully withpeople of the Muslim faith, please feel free to send them this email. Whether or not theybelieve me will not alter the truth. But this is my testimony; and as God as my witness,it is the truth.

The apostle Paul understood the power of Christ's presence in the life of the believer and how it is embracedby some and staunchly opposed by others, like the situation of Linda and her former husband. In Paul's secondletter to the Corinthians, he wrote: "For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are beingsaved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death Ieading to death, and to theother the aroma of life Ieading to life" (2:15,16).

May we allow Linda's testimony to encourage us to be that fragrance of Christ, whether it is joyfullyembraced or bitterly rejected by our family members, neighbors and coworkers.

Nancy-TONI began working on a "Fiery Trials" Report for this Newsletter when she wastaken down by a fairly severe case of bronchitis. Though she saw a doctor and gotmedication there was no improvement and I realized that while Nancy-TONI was under thestress of every day tasks plus writing the articlg,that she was not going to improve. At thatpoint I asked Nancy-TONI to forget about the article for "Fiery Trials"this Newsletter andto focus on rest and recovery. After several days of bed rest she has improved and is on themend. BOZO'S IN THE AIRWAYS

There was a little space left before completing this Newsletter and I wanted to make somecomments about "air safety" with all the new screening rigors going on in our airports. I'veheard enough horror stories since they were put in place to bring me to the resolve of"never flying anywhere" unless JESUS directs me to take an aircraft.

It is not fear but utter disgust and absolute mistrust in the measures being made that Idiscern are wholly useless and as recent findings discovered, they are hopelessly useless.

I hear people say that they will endure anything to ensure their safety on an airplane andthen I wonder, just what are they getting for what they are giving up'? Actually nothing.

When I was on the Prophesy Club Tour of 35 cities in late 1999 I took at least two airplanesa day as I wandered across the U.S. from city to city. I was in and out of airports withregularity and in this time I began to discern something loud and clear, the system ofscreening was useless. I recognized that a determined criminal could easily bring abroada weapon and could easily hijack any airplane in America. What brought me to this view?

In part I discerned it by the Spirit of God a very real vulnerability. On another level I sawup close the level of unprofessional behavior by screeners; I was also aware that they weregrossly underpaid and probably not very well trained.

What crossed my mind more than once in 1999 on seeing this poorly funded andunprofessional airport security was that the airlines were on the cheap and were going topay a terrible price when someone dangerous saw their weakness and exploited it.

Wel,l it happened on September 11, 2001 and those Islamic terrorists were able to almostsimultaneously hijack four airliners at the same time and on the same day and worked touse them as flying bombs.

Then Congress federalized the airport screeners and all sort of draconian measures havebeen introduced — so, all is well-right? Wrong! It is, in my opinion, probably worse nowthan it was before September f Ph

InOrlando, Florida they have installed a machine that can see through your clothes (the phototo the right of the cartoon is a literal example). I've heard some idiots comments, "Oh, ifit makes us safer it's ok. " This is not ok, it is an indication that things are very wrong.

On a flight just weeks ago an American businessman went to the bathroom (but to do that30 minutes before landing is forbidden by new federal regulations) - in any event three U. S.Air Marshals sprang to their feet, drawing their guns on the man and ordering thepassengers to hold their hands over they heads until they landed (30 minutes) - at gunpoint.This man (who had to go) is facing a ten year prison sentence for going to the bathroom.

The behavior of the Air Marshals got my notice, these guys are lunatics! I'd rather see theAmerican citizen carrying arms on airplanes than have bozo's like that on an airplaneAND/OR arm the pilots (which the Bush Administration is dead set against).

John Ashcroft, the Attorney General of the United States was just about strip-searched byairport screeners recently, and former House Speaker Newt Gingerich has been severelysearched each time he flies — what kind of people are doing the screening?

Many of these airport screeners are aliens, non-citizens, and some can hardly speakEnglish. One U.S. Senator stated that 87% of the airport personnel at Dulles Airport arealiens (non-American citizens). Another fact, many airport screeners cannot read, thereforethey are unable to read the manuals on how to do the job.

I've heard first hand accounts of how a woman some 90 years old in a wheelchair was notallowed to board a plane because she didn't have a current photo I.D., while other womenare being "felt-up" with some regularity by screeners (some have filed law suits against thescreeners and airports for molestation). In another account a retired U.S. Marine General(80+ years old) was not allowed on a flight because he had a strange, dangerous lookingmedal on his person (the U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor, the highest award of thisnation for valor and courage in battle). These people are a band of bozo's and you'd haveto be crazy to think you are safe with them.

More recently a report came out about how easy it was to penetrate these new securitysystems — of hundreds of attempts* to get guns, knives and bombs on airplanes — 33% of

the times the guns got past the screeners, 60% of the time the knives got past and 70% ofthe time the bombs got past them. More, of hundreds of attempts, 70%+ were able to geton empty airplanes without being noticed or caught.

*Note - This was done by people hired to test the airport security systems to see if theycould get by it with weapons.
