    On Thursday, the Scotty Girls golf team was in Malta

    for the Whitewater Invitational where they tied with

    Plentywood for 1st place with a 359, three of them

    cracking the top ten. Amy Nelson placed 3rd, Lauren

    Ross led the Scotties with a 7th place fnish. Next up

    Qualifer gets underway at 4:00 with both the feld and timed

    events. Much bigger than last year’s event, over 20 teams

    from Class B and C will be competing tonight at Scotty Field

    Bowhunter Ed Class

    Offered in Glasgow   A Montana Fish, Wildlie & Parks bowhuntereducation class will take place in Glasgow rom Friday,April 22-Sunday, April 24. Students must be at least

    11-years old on the first day o class to be eligible orcertification.  Starting in 2017, the purchase o a Montana bowand arrow license will be required prior to applying orany archery-only permit. o purchase a bow and arrowlicense an individual must meet one o the ollowingrequirements:• show completion o a bowhunter education course• show proo o purchase o a previous years bow and

    arrow license rom Montana or another state• sign an affidavit that they have previously purchased

    a bow and arrow license in Montana or anotherstate.

      First time archers need to plan ahead so that theyhave the prerequisite bowhunter education certificatein order to apply or 2017 archery only drawings. Tefirst drawing deadline is March 15 each year. MontanaFWP Bowhunter education classes are offered aroundthe state until July 31 o each year.  Classes will run rom 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday,8-4 p.m. on Saturday, and rom 10-4:30 p.m. on Sundayor the test and field day. Te class will be held in theQuonset building at the FWP headquarters in Glasgow.o register or the Bowhunter Education class, go to theFWP website at www.wp.mt.gov, and look under the“Education” tab. Make sure to print out all necessarymaterial and sign all necessary orms.Prospective students also need to pick up theirBowhunter Education book “oday’s Bowhunter” at theFWP office.
