CELEBRATING WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR 75 YEARS

On April 21, 1942, a large crowd gathered in a home in the community with the shared purpose of organizing a Baptist church in the White Hall community. The congregation decided in August of 1942 to build a permanent home for their worship services. White Hall Baptist Church broke ground on March 22, 1943. The celebration will continue after the service to include a meal in the Fellowship Hall. We will have gifts to give out celebrating the 75th anniversary. You are invited to be a part of our church growth and outreach. Every Tuesday night at 6:30 PM we

will be going out into the community to share Christ and invite people to our church. If you are

available on Tuesdays, even if only one Tuesday, we would love for you to come. Some people will go

make visits, two or three people per team. Others will be able to stay and write cards. We hope you

can come be apart of this valuable ministry of the church.

Bring an article of clothing and we will embroider the church logo on it

so that you can represent Jesus and White Hall Baptist all over our

community.

Feel free to bring multiple items so that you can take your church with

you wherever you go and wear it with pride. And by the way, this meets

school dress code requirements and most work environments.

HOLY WEEK

Sponsored by the Trenton Ministerial Alliance

The Trenton Ministerial Alliance consist of a variety of churches of different denominations. The TMA allows

churches in Trenton to pool resources together to help families in the community who are in need. The TMA

helps families with utilities bills so that their electricity is not cut off during the cold winter months or the hot

summer months. The Alliance also helps point people to where they can find help with food and clothing.

Twice a year the TMA churches have joint services at various churches in our community. This will be the

fourth year that White Hall has hosted the Palm Sunday service. At each joint service an offering is taken to

help continue to minister to those in need in the community. This year, Brother Chris will be preaching the

message as the message each day reflects the Messianic prophesies in the Old Testament.

Each day at noon a lunch will be provided along with a Messianic prophesy in the Old Testament.

2T22 CLASS

Wednesday Nights at 6:00

Randy Pool will be offering a temporary class on “making disciples” at 6:00pm on Wednesday nights

beginning in April after the Revival with Danny Sinquefield.

OPERATION INASMUCH

Matthew 25:40

40b Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto

one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

We are hosting an “Operation Inasmuch” training day on April

18th. “Operation Inasmuch” is a proven model of community

ministry that is a one-day event. Operation Inasmuch provides a new, creative, and fun way for our church to

serve the community so that we can share the love of Christ. Before we can have the “day” of ministry, we must

MAUNDY THURSDAY

April 13

6:00-7:30 PM

The Thursday before Easter is considered to be the day that Jesus ate the

Passover meal with His disciples. Last year we began offering this service for

you to celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior

through a silent Lord’s Supper. You are invited again this year to come at

any time between 6 and 7:30. You will receive a guide to help you pray

silently for forgiveness and cleansing so that you may righteously partake of

the Lord’s Supper. Then, as the Lord leads you, you may come to the altar to

receive the elements of the Lord’s Supper. Last year, this service was said by

many to the best service we have had a White Hall in a long time. You and

ASSOCIATION BIBLE DRILL

April 10

6:30-7:30

Recently, Layla Lovell and Juan Torres competed in the White Hall Bi-ble Drill and both passed with flying colors and we could not be more proud of them. They both now move on to the Association Bible Drill which will be on April 10 hosted right here at White Hall.

The youth at WHBC have been visiting folks and working hard to bring new faces and old friends to church. We had a great time at Chapel Hill during the GBA county wide youth event. We look forward to having more of these times to share and connect with other students and youth pastors. The youth are gearing up to help with our Easter egg hunt and travel to Galloway, our sister church, to help them with their Easter event. Last year our kids hid over 3000 eggs and helped over 100 kids hunt for these treasures and hear the Easter story of Jesus Christ. We look forward to this event again. Keep our students in your prayers because we are getting things ready for mission week in June and our Graduation picnic in May. If you know of a member that is graduating from high school please contact Demetra and give her their name. Thank you for your continued support of this youth and children's ministry as the youth team and I seek God's plans and wisdom for our students.

Spring is here and WHBC kids are full of that joyful energy that comes with the changing of the seasons. Bible drills are in full swing and the Regional drills will be coming up April 10th. The Awana kids are on the home stretch of learning God's amazing words for this school year and plans are in the works for a summer program to continue the spiritual growth we've seen in our children. On Saturday April 8th we will have a community wide Easter egg hunt with games and crafts for ages 3 thru 6th grade. The time will be 2-4pm. We are collecting candy and filled eggs for this event and appreciate all your help. This is one of my favorite times of the year because we get to explain to our kids that Easter is not about a bunny that brings eggs (even though I still like to look for them) but about A Savior that brings new life just like all the new life bursting around us in Spring. We invite everyone to join us for a special Easter celebration here at White Hall and Be

Revival is here! The choir will be singing nightly. Please feel free to join on any night. Joe Hammonds will be here to sing for us on Monday night. Be praying now for God's Spirit to rain down upon us and bring healing and refreshment to our souls. Also, Easter is around the corner. I Corinthians 15:55 says, "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" Mark 16:4 reminds us that the stone which was very large had been rolled away. This seems to be such a simple statement, but behind it lays a truth that is positively staggering. No longer can death be an intimidator. The stone that was rolled away the first Easter morn was not just the rock that sealed the tomb but it is the invitation to join Him in Heaven. John14:6 says "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." What a glorious promise we have as Christians. The choir will be doing its Easter music Easter Sunday. Please join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bro. Jim
