I had been out for 3 months taking care of family and their medical issues. I will still need to be gone at times during the work week due to continuing fam- ily medical struggles. This is the reason you haven’t gotten any newsletters since November. I’d especially like to thank the Executive Board for continu- ing with the program and keeping things “aϐloat” during my absence. Nadine Boer was kept very busy staying on top of important council and program issues; she helped Lay- tonville hold a very successful Presentation day event, to name only a few. Rhonda Brown, our Council treasurer, took care of getting our enrollment fees to the state ofϐice on time, not an easy job I assure you. Sheryn Hildebrand, council secretary, took care of getting a council meeting planned and held in January. These are only a few of things that this very efϐicient team took care of in my absence. I am sincerely thankful and grateful for everything they have done to keep Mendocino County 4-H on track. Linda Edgington
