    Jewish Meditation Group Led by Marshall Reissman Thursdays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 6:30 - 7:30 pm Saturdays, April 4, 11, 18, 8:45 - 9:45 am (BEEFY Lounge)

    Guided meditation group with Jewish themes for spiritual development. This group is great for those seeking to enhance their relationship with God. Spend time discussing Jewish works that will inspire and guide focused meditation time.

    Sacred Aging Luncheon A Luncheon with Rabbi Torop Especially for those born in 1945 or before Thursday, April 2, 12:00 - 2:00 pm (Library)

    Annual Second Night SederSaturday, April 4, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Social Hall)

    Rabbi Michael Torop will lead us through our annual Second Night Seder with a delicious meal prepared by Boyz in the Hood. Reservations are full.

    Early Childhood Center Passover Seder Friday, April 10, 11:00 am - 12:30 pm (Courtyard)

    Frogs are jumping everywhere! Join the Earlyhood Childhood Center for an interactive intergenerational Passover Seder. Taste the traditional foods, listen to a Passover story, and sing Passover songs!

De-mystify the conversion process, support and empower non-Jewish parents in raising Jewish children, and discuss the role of grandparents in a multi-faith family.

    FAST Rally Monday, April 13, 7:00 - 9:00 pm St. Catherine-Siena Catholic Church, 1955 Belcher Road S. ClearwaterThe Rally is the gathering of all justice network members from the 40 participating faith communities to prepare for the Nehemiah Action April 27. We will hear updates on the issues and the changes we are seeking from the decision makers who will join us at the Action.

    Yom Hashoah Thursday, April 16, 6:30 - 8:30 pm Florida Holocaust Museum, 55 5th Street S, 33701Dr. Suzanne Brown-Fleming will present Love thy Neighbor. Catholic Responses to the First Anti-Jewish Laws, April 1933. Dr. Brown-Fleming is Director of Visiting Scholar Programs in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museums Jack, Joseph and Morton Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies. The Pinellas County Board of Rabbis will lead prayers and the lighting of candles as part of the commemoration.

    Early Childhood Center Trike-a-thon Friday, April 17, 10:45 - 11:45 am (Parking Lot)Join us for a fun-filled, fast track event with the Temple Beth-El Early Childhood Center. All family members are encouraged to bring their bikes, trikes, strollers, rollerblades, wheelchairs, and have some fun! Cameras and videos are a must as a we gather together when Rabbi says start your engines! Proceeds benefit our Early Childhood Center classrooms! Please show your support!

This month, we celebrate our connection to Israel and her 67th Anniversary of Independence through Israeli music and a special audio-visual presentation of Temple Beth-El members in Israel across the decades.     Harvey Morgenstein Mitzvah Day Sunday, April 26, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (Various Locations)

    Our annual Harvey Morgenstein Mitzvah Day will be on April 26. The Boyz will serve breakfast to fortify as we go forth and do mitzvot! Plan to arrive at Temple Beth-El early to enjoy breakfast, and then go out to your selected Mitzvah Project from approximately 10:00 -1:00. Go to the Temple website for information on this years projects and register in order to participate in the project of your choice. Space is limited for many projects and the most popular projects fill up fast, so dont procrastinate.     FAST Nehemiah Action Monday, April 27, 7:00 pm (5:30 Tailgate*) Tropicana Field

    Nehemiah Action is the largest gathering in Pinellas County of citizens who want to pursue justice by creating systemic change addressing issues of primary concern. This year, the focus is on homelessness, criminal justice, school discipline, and jobs. 3,000 people are expected to gather. For more information about how to participate please contact Karen Berman at (727) 244-2872.

    *Pre-action tailgate party (5:30 pm) for the Temple Beth-El Justice Network and Action Participants. BYO food and join us for a spirited gathering to energize our network. Look for us in Lot 7, as close to the rotunda entrance as possible (note: arriving early will help you beat the traffic arriving later at the Trop!)
