About Me!

Hi everyone! As you might have read through countless introductions already, I am honored to serve as your 2015-2016 Key Club Lieutenant Governor. I really do believe we are the best division ever and that we can grow to be even greater.

To make this quick, short, simple, and to the point, I am just your average high school stu-dent hoping to serve for a greater purpose. I am your avid debater, dancer, and Netflix lov-er, and I absolutely love to eat just for fun. I enjoy meeting new people, so don’t be scared to approach me or ask me questions or just become friends with me!

I know that we’ll have the best Key Club year yet, and I intend to get to know every one of you! But I can’t do that without YOUR help. So be sure to attend divisional events, or let me know whenever your club is having meet-ings or events so I can meet you!

Biweekly email updates will begin next week. I’ll send out a Google form for those that want to be on the mailing list!

Yours in service, Amber Liu

Introducing your Execu-tive Assis-tant!

Hey hey Key Clubber!

I’m so happy that you decided to stick around Key Club, and I really hope that you will continue to stay with Amber and I as we tackle the new year.

For new members who don’t know who I am, I’m Angela Lin, your new 3S EA sec-ond year in a row. I love food, sleeping, volunteering, and just staying busy~!

If you have any ques-tions, feel free to hit me up through my Fa-cebook. Hope to see you around!

DCON: Service Adventure It’s been a month since DCON, and I bet many of us can still feel that

post– DCON syndrome, I know I do. With the amazing decorations,

the fun welcoming activities, the informative forums, the fancy but not-

so-fancy chicken dinners, and the overall atmosphere of passion for

service, DCON truly is a magical moment . For those of you who

missed it this year, I highly encourage joining us next year! DCON is

held in Dallas at the Sheraton every year and people from all around

Texas and Oklahoma attend. It really is an awesome experience , so it

wouldn’t hurt to start thinking about fundraising for the event now!

First Club Visit(s)! A few weeks ago, I visited Ridge Point HS for

their check presentation to a UNICEF repre-

sentative. I’m not going to lie, I was pretty

nervous, walking up to a school, texting num-

bers of people I had never met. I was excited

to meet everyone, but I couldn’t help but won-

der if they would like me or if it’d be awkward,-

after all, I am an awkward person. Worried

over nothing, I entered a roomful of friendly

faces. Congratulations for being super awe-

some, Ridge Point, and for being my 1st club

visit. High Tower was technically my second

club visit, so I wonder who will be my third?

CKI Senioritis kicking in and happy about leaving

high school but sad about the upcoming tragic

break up with Key Club? The easy solution is to

join Circle K International, the college version of

Key Club! Check if your campus has one or if

you can start a Circle K! I apologize that this

sounds like an infomercial.
