APRIL 23, 2016 TENTH ANNUAL NTSC TED MULLIN “Leave it in the Pool” HOUR OF POWER RELAY For Sarcoma Research Ted Mullin from Winnetka, who loved to swim and always gave it his all, was a member of New Trier Swim Club. Ted grew up, graduated from New Trier High School and was named an Academic All-American and an Illinois State Scholar. He swam for his college team and coached for NTSC during his breaks. Tragically while Ted was attending college he became sick with a very rare soft- tissue cancer called sarcoma. He fought a courageous battle but passed away in the fall of 2006. The Hour of Power Relay began to honor Ted's memory and to help raise funds for research at the University of Chicago into the causes and treatment of sarcoma in young people. To learn more about the Ted Mullin Fund, go to www.tedmullinfund.org On the morning of Saturday, April 23rd, New Trier Swim Club swimmers from every swim group will come together for the Hour of Power Relay! NTSC Swimmer: ___________________________________Age:___________ NTSC Swim Group:____________________________ Preferred T-shirt Size: _________________________ (ie. ys, ym, yl; adult s, m, l) Participating swimmers who raise $75 or more will receive an Hour of Power T-shirt. Raise $125 and receive a T-shirt and a raffle ticket. For each additional $125 raised, swimmers will receive an additional raffle ticket, up to 5 raffles per swimmer. NEW THIS YEAR, “$500 CLUB!” For all swimmers who raise $500 or more Prizes to include Connor Dwyer swag, Reed Malone swag, Kiefer equipment, coach lessons and $500 Club swimmers will be invited to a special private event. This year we will also be awarding a top prize to the individual who raise the most $$ and to a second individual who solicits the highest number of donors.
