Senior Graduation Timeline Information May 3rd Soaring Skyhawk Applications due to front office – due by 3:00 p.m. Spirit-Heart-Honor-Success (SHHS Award) Mr. Peery sent an email to all seniors with a Google Form attached. Please fill out this form for the SHHS Award. All library books are due. All obligations for graduation must be met. You must have all outside credit completed and turned into the counselors. If you do not have all obligations met by this date, you may still be able to graduate (see your counselor for details). May 14 & 15 All textbooks are due. May 14th Senior Awards Assembly will be held in the auditorium at 1:00 p.m. This will be a best dress day. We invite any parents who would like to attend this special recognition program. May 17th LAST DAY OF CLASSES FOR SENIORS You may begin the check-out process in the morning, in between classes, and after school. Please pick up your check-out cards in front of the main office. If you have every box stamped on your check-out card, your cap and gown will be available for pick up from 11:35 until 3:00 p.m. in the orchestra pit room. ALL FEES/FINES MUST BE PAID AND NO MORE THAN 3 CITIZENSHIP U’S WILL BE ALLOWED (Includes 4th Term). THEY MUST BE CLEARED WITH ADMINISTRATION BEFORE YOU GRADUATE! May 21 A celebration breakfast will be held for all seniors at 8:00 a.m. Graduation PRACTICE will be held Tuesday, May 21, at 8:30 a.m. in the main gym. DO NOT BE LATE! YOU MUST ATTEND THIS PRACTICE IN ORDER TO WALK AT THE GRADUATION EXERCISE. Yearbook distribution to seniors will be at 9:45am in the concessions by the Skyhawk head. This distribution will end at 10:30am. May 22 Graduation is Wednesday, May 22, at 6:00 p.m. on the Salem Hills High School football field. Seniors must be seated in the main gym at 5:00 p.m. exactly as you did at practice. DO NOT BE LATE. REMEMBER TO BRING CAP, GOWN and HONOR CORDs, ETC. During the program you are expected to be quiet and respectful of those participating. Graduation is a dignified event. Appropriate behavior is expected. Proper dress for this most important day is expected. We also ask that families come dressed appropriately and that you avoid bringing in food and drink. Please take all family pictures prior to or after graduation. SENIOR GRADUATION PARTY – May 22 Place: Boondocks Time: 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. Cost: $25.00 a person. Please pay at the finance office by May 10th.

Code to Success Summer Program Nebo Advanced Learning Center June 10 - July 19, 2019 Monday - Friday from 8am to 12pm This 6 week summer programming class is FREE! Register at http://cte.nebo.edu/content/student-opportunities

MTECH registration for next year’s classes begins on April 23rd at 8:00 a.m. Many classes fill up quickly, so plan on registering as soon as it opens! Students must apply for admissions and take an assessment test at MTECH prior to registering for classes. American Legion Boys State Program Utah Boys State is a week long program where students participate in mock trials and elections, music, sports and semi-nars with public officials. Utah Boys State will be held June 10-14, 2019 at Weber State University. Boys graduating from Boys State will receive three college credits from WSU. Interested students can stop by the counseling office for more infor-mation!http://continue.weber.edu/boysstate/ The deadline to ap-ply is April 30th.
