Dear Parents and Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to
welcome Ms. Anne Scalet to the faculty
and staff of St. Pius X! Beginning April 30th, Ms. Scalet will
assume the role of sixth grade home-
room, as well as middle school Lan-
guage Arts teacher to finish out the year
for Mrs. Liech%. Ms. Scalet has also been chosen to be-
come our new Assistant Principal of St.
Pius X School with a start date of July 1,
2018. Ms. Scalet comes to SPX with 33
years of Catholic school service experi-
ence. She worked as a teacher at Monte
Cassino School for 22 years, and 11
years at All Saints Catholic School as
Principal. Ms. Scalet is a graduate of St. Pius X, as
are all of her siblings. She is very excited
to be "coming home" to our St. Pius
community. Ms. Scalet has 4 children
and one grandchild, and she is hopeful
that her grandchild will one day be a St.
Pius X student. She looks forward to working with Prin-
cipal Mrs. Heidi McCoy, learning the
mission of the school, and ge'ng to
know the teachers, students, and par-
