“STAFF SELFIES” My name is Becky Mele. I teach 5th grade: Math, Science and English Language Arts. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Education of PreK-3 Early Childhood from Kent State, a 4/5 Endorsement from Walsh University, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ursuline College. This is my 9th year at Park, my 10th year teaching. My husband, Mike, and I will be married for 12 years this summer. We have two delightful boys, Michael, 4, and Jacob, 2. We have a dog, Daisy, cat, Hudson, and horse, Random. In my free time, I enjoy trail riding my horse with Mrs. Swick, and hope to someday get back into Three-Day Eventing. I also enjoy taking walks with the boys and our dog. My hope from my class this year is for my students to realize their true potential and to not give up, even when the content becomes challenging.
