1. Add a question about painting retaining wall.

Retaining wall is not to be painted.

2. Please furnish us with a routing drawing showing the water and sewer system from the starting point to termination points. See revised sheets C-XX and

3. What alternate does parking lot 2 fall under. Parking lot 2 falls under the Main Bid. Any item, unless specifically located within an alternate box, should be considered as part of the main bid.

4. Does the alternates have any correlation to the Alignment stations listed on the front of the plans. Alternates do not correlate to stationing. Alternates beginning and ending

correlate to radii points along turnouts and curves.

5. The Front Elevation on Sheet B3 indicates shows the dimensions of the roll-up doors as 10’ x 12’. The Door Schedule on sheet B5 shows the dimensions as 12’ x 12’. Please confirm the dimensions of the roll-up doors. Roll-up doors shall be 12’ x 12’ per Door Schedule on sheet B5.

6. What is the gallon per day for the facility?

7. What is the specification for the septic system?

See attached FDOH application.

8. Due to Executive Order 20-51, bids will be received and opened electronically. Contractors are to supply a copy of their bid bond with their electronic bid package. Original bid bonds are to be mailed to: Procurement & Contracts Department, 149 S.E. College Place, Lake City, Florida 32025-2007. More information will follow with instructions on how to electronically submit your bid and participate in the bid opening.

9. The contractor should disregard reference to wall mounted mini-split systems by Mitsubishi for the meeting room, simulator room and restrooms. Contractor shall provide a conventional central heat pump system with the air handler to be located in the attic space above the simulator room and the condensing unit located outside, immediately adjacent to the simulator room. The system should include multi-zone capabilities and a programable thermostat(s). The attic space above the simulator room shall have plywood decking as needed to facilitate future servicing of the air handler. The contractor shall provide a means of access to the space from the ‘Open Air Space’ (shown on the plans) that will allow for convenient removal of the unit.
