Network*Talk to everyone. Let people know what you do. Make a large network for yourself.
Keep Your Feet Wet*Learn your skills. Constantly train in that area.
Advice*If anyone offers to help you, or can be of some assistance, take it!
KIDS… TAKE A MOMENT TO THINK ABOUT HOW SPECIAL YOUR PARENTS ARE
They nature their talented childThey show up for off the wall shows.
They make sure that their pocketbook is full of cash to pay for lessons, tolls, gas, on the go meals, etc.
They remember to say, “You did great honey!” after a performance.
They remember to pack and carry the music, the outfits, and the headshots.
They spend the night before making sure your shirt is clean and getting the directions together.
They stand in long lines for auditions or sit around during long rehearsals or bookings.
They sacrifice and take time off from work to take you to the places.
Even when you show you don’t deserve it, they still do it anyway.
WHY NOT SHOW THAT YOU APPRECIATE THEM.IN REALITY, THEY COULD BE DOING SOMETHING ELSE.
