April will see a slow down in youth activities due to Spring Break and Easter. But we will be back in full Swing in May! Mark your calendars for May 5th. WE will be having a Cinco De Mayo Fiesta & Movie night!
May 21 is youth sunday and we will be using our sunday School time in April & May to prepare in leading the congregation in worship.
We are thankful for all of your love and support!
In Grace,Annie Sutton
Spring Break, Easter, and end of the year activities will make for some fun days ahead but also a lot of changes to our regular Sunday and Wednesday schedules. Our newsletter lists all the events and changes for the coming month (and some summer activities, too), so please make sure to mark your calendars so you won’t miss anything! On Sunday, April 9th during Sunday School, we will have an Easter Egg Hunt for 3rd graders and younger. We’ll begin at 10:00 with interactive stations that will teach the children about the events of Holy Week and we’ll end with an egg hunt! Don’t forget an Easter basket. Thanks to Kerry and Scott Powell and Nicole Crowe for serving at the 4th-6th grade Flashlight Egg Hunt, and to Mary Ann DuBose, Bobbie Shelnutt, Vickey Barnett, and Lisa Duckett for hiding the eggs! We had a fan-tastic evening doing random acts of kindness around our church and around Jasper. We ended the evening with a flashlight egg hunt.
Thanks,Kim Mason
JOY Choir will meet:April 7 & 21
Handbells meet every Monday at 5:30pm
Choir Rehearsal is every Wednesday night at 7:00pm.
The preschool is going great! We are about to be in full swing with our playground renovation and the end of the year is just a few weeks away!
Registration has begun and classes are filling up quickly. We had such a successful first year of kin-dergarten, that we are already full in one class and are adding a second. If you or someone you know is wanting to register for the 2017-2018 school year, please have them contact the preschool at 706-253-5017.
We also had a very productive Book Fair where we sold right at $4,000 in books and we are going to be able to take out our earnings and purchase furniture for our new classrooms for the upcoming year.
Thank you for all your prayers and support for our school year, and please continue to remember us.
Blessings,Cassie Rasco

Youth Mission trip (YMt) 2017What?? Our annual church mission trip. It started out as a youth trip - hence the name - but has transformed over the years to be a multi-generational event where we go into communities to serve others. Our work typically involves construction, painting, kids camps, and much more! When?? July 8-15, 2017Where?? Morningstar CFS, Brunswick, GAhoW?? This trip is made possible every year by the members and friends of FBC Jasper. These people attend the trips, committing to be the Body of Christ through service and action. These people pray for each other, promising to send up daily words of encouragement. These people donate food and money, ensuring the food we eat and supplies we use are coming from home so that we are not a burden on those to whom we are ministering.
Wanna Be a part of this??Contact Kyle Rasco or Annie Sutton!
