Student Recreation CentreHourly LockersThe Student Recreation Centre offers coin-operated lockers and hourly lockers (for a maximum use of 3 hours). Locks are available free-of-charge from the front desk in exchange for a piece of ID, or you can bring your own lock. Please note that locks left overnight will be removed.

Term-Based Locker RentalIn addition to the coin-operated and hourly lockers, there are lockers available for term-based rentals.

UBC Aquatic CentreHourly LockersHourly lockers at the UBC Aquatic Centre are coin-operated. Depending on the size of the locker, each time you open the locker it costs either $1 for a large or extra-large locker, or $0.25 for a small or medium locker. All items must be removed by end-of-day.

Term-Based Locker RentalLockers are available for term-based rentals from the front desk. Locker expiration dates for each term are posted online and in the facility at the start of each term.

Women’s Only Fitness Hours at the ARC

Visit the ARC Lower Level Studio during special women’s only hours. Enjoy private studio times, access to equipment, and access to friendly and knowledgeable staff so that you can feel empowered

Move More, Learn More

Move More, Learn More is a 9-week program designed for self-identified Asian women starting out with health and fitness. This targeted program teaches the knowledge, skills, and confidence to get active and improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Join in with a group of friends and take the first steps in 2020 towards a healthier lifestyle together!

What do you need to participate?

1. Yourself! No experience is required and no specialized equipment is necessary.

Doubles Play at the UBC Tennis Centre

The UBC Tennis Centre is proud to offer a variety of doubles play opportunities for Winter 2020! For players newer to doubles (1.5 – 2.5 level), we have an Intro to Doubles Play clinic on Mondays at 11:00 am.

For those at a 2.5 – 4.5 level looking to play doubles, we’re offering Friday Night Doubles Tennis sessions in February and March where you can spend your evening in a fun and social environment.

3. Family rate is listed per person for one or two parent households plus their children. Minimum one paying parent and one paying child.

4. Non-peak hours occur Monday to Friday between 9:00 am – 11:30 am, 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm, and 8:30 pm – close, as well as Saturday to Sunday after 6:30 pm.

5. A 10-visit card expires April 30, 2020. 6. A one-month pass is valid for one (1) calendar month from the date of purchase. 7. A four-month pass is valid for four (4) calendar months from the date of purchase. 8. The yearly membership is valid for the period of one (1) calendar year from the date of purchase. 9. Closures: aquatic facilities are complex and require regular maintenance. There will be both

scheduled and unscheduled maintenance closures that will occur within the year. Facility users can anticipate scheduled maintenance closures of 3-6 weeks over any 12-month period. No refunds, partial refunds, or credits will be granted due to facility closures or access restrictions.

SPRING THUNDERBIRD ADULT HOCKEY LEAGUE Spring TAHL has a new look! The Spring TAHL program now has more teams, bigger divisions and great evening ice times, all at a lower cost. All games are scheduled in the evening at UBC throughout our season from May to July. Teams are guaranteed 12 regular season games and 2 playoff games, plus divisional prizing at the end of the season.
