Conference Moderator Bios:
Audrey Sawyer Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky
Audrey is dedicated to understanding how the flow of water mediates geologic and ecologic processes near the earth's surface. Her research focuses on the exchange of surface water and groundwater (for example, fluid flow between rivers or bays and aquifers). Surface water-groundwater exchange impacts ecosystem health by influencing the movement of nutrients, contaminants, and heat in watersheds
Dan Caputo Vironex, Inc.
Dan manages the high resolution site characterization group at Vironex, including site characterization efforts utilizing membrane interface probe (MIP), hydraulic profiling tool (HPT), electrical conductivity, laser inducted florescence (UVOST), and other technical profiling tool technologies. Dan’s experience includes 10 years in the environmental industry, both in field service and consulting. He is centrally located in Vironex’s Rocky Mountain Office in Colorado and oversees projects across the country. Dan is a graduate of Central Washington University with a degree in Chemistry.
Glenn Duffield HydroSOLVE, Inc.
Glenn is the founder and president of HydroSOLVE, Inc., an innovative groundwater consulting firm headquartered in Reston, Virginia, USA, that specializes in aquifer test analysis, groundwater modeling, software development and continuing education courses for groundwater professionals. He is a senior quantitative hydrogeologist and the developer of AQTESOLV, which has been the world's leading software for the design and analysis of pumping tests, slug tests and constant-head tests since 1989. AQTESOLV features automatic and visual curve matching tools for aquifer test interpretation using traditional and advanced solution methods for nonleaky confined, leaky confined, unconfined and fractured aquifers.

David received a BS and MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He has 10 years experience with Engineering Consulting firms Donohue and Earth Tech and has been the Midwest Regional Sales Manager at In-Situ, Inc. for the last 4-years.

Chuck Taylor KGS
Chuck joined KGS in 2013 after a 21-year career with the U.S. Geological Survey where he conducted a variety of groundwater studies in Kentucky and adjacent states. In his present position, he oversees the hydrogeological and water-quality research projects and data-collection activities of the Water Resources Section, including the Kentucky Groundwater Data Repository and the Kentucky Groundwater Monitoring Network.
Ray Boyle The Well Improvement Company, Inc.
Ray Boyle obtained a B.S. in Geology from Montana State University and a M.S. in Geology from Colorado State University. For the last 30 years, Ray has been involved in hydrofracturing mountain water wells, which has included academic and practical studies to refine the equipment and procedures for hydrofracturing. He is skilled in using inflatable packers for hydrofracturing as well as environmental applications. The cross-over from hydrofracturing to environmental packer applications has been natural due to the similarities in hydraulic and mechanical requirements.
