The Herp Blerp

ARAV also produces a monthly e-newsletter, The Herp Blerp. With our technician liaison serving as editor, the goal of The Herp Blerp is to reach out to our membership, including students and technicians with an easy access e-mail format. It is also available

to the public on-line on our webpage at arav.org/newsletter/. The Herp Blerp contains association news announcements, updates from our board members, articles from our technician liaison, veterinary technicians, and veterinary students, clinical

tips and tricks, conference and other continuing education information, and articles featuring our members’ work in the field of conservation. Our members are encouraged to download and print the newsletter to circulate to their clinical staff. Our newsletter is sent directly via e-mail to over 900 ARAV members and has an average open rate of 40% and a 10.7% click rate. A link is embedded in all these advertisements.

Advertising in the newsletter is a great way to not only reach our members but their staff too. All advertising in the newsletter is through electronic means and full color is
