The Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center recommends that all parties wishing to make reference in their contracts to arbitration or mediation under the Center’s rules, to use the following standard clauses:

ARBITRATION CLAUSE“All disputes arising in connection with the present contract shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon by one or more Arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules.The contracting parties declare accepting the provisions of the said Rules and undertake to abide by them.”

MEDIATION CLAUSE"In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with the present contract, the parties agree to submit the matter to settlement proceedings under the Lebanese Mediation Center (LMC) of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIA-BML) Mediation Procedure. Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the mediator will be nominated by the LMC."

The Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon is specialized in resolving business disputes. It consists of the Lebanese Arbitration Center founded in 1995 and the Lebanese Mediation Center founded in 2012.

The Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center offers its services to local and international business community, private and public sectors. Its main characteristics are the experience, professionalism, trust, speed, confidentiality, neutrality, flexibility and cost saving process.

The Center has recently been accredited by the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME) for its expertise, highly qualified services and good practice over twenty years at the service of the business community.

THE LEBANESE ARBITRATION CENTERArbitration is a technique for the resolution of disputes outside the courts, where the parties to a dispute decide to refer it to an arbitrator or a panel of three arbitrators. The Lebanese Arbitration Center has been established in 1995 and is supervised by a Board of Trustees that encompasses representatives of economic sectors and pertinent personalities of experience and specialization.

THE LEBANESE MEDIATION CENTERMediation is a modern technique for resolving disputes through mutually accepted agreement.The Lebanese Mediation Center has been established in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, as part of their alternative dispute resolutions program.

المركز اللبناني للتحكيم التحكيــم هــو وســيلة لحــل النزاعــات خــارج المحاكــم ، يقــوم بهــا محكــم منفــرد أو

هيئــة مؤلفــة مــن ثــالث محكميــن وفقــً الرادة الفرقــاء. أنشــئ المركــز اللبنانــي للتحكيــم فــي العــام 1995 ويشــرف عليــه مجلــس مــن االمنــاء

يضــم ممثلــي القطاعــات االقتصاديــة وشــخصيات مــن ذوي الخبــرة واالختصــاص.

المركز اللبناني للوساطةالوساطة هي وسيلة حديثة لحل النزاعات عبر التوافق الرضائي بين االطراف.
