Always read the full quest description before accepting, they can save you time specially when needing to kill a specific enemy. All Daily Pet Quests are first started through a connecting quest which always ends in Call and is accepted via a Beastmaster in Windmoore or the Great City of Kraag The Daily Companion NPC Quests need to be repeated until you got a chest as a reward that actually contains the egg. In other words, theres not a precise number of times you do the quest in order to get the pet.
