Presentation Notes
From Classification, to Clustering, to Prediction, ArcGIS has a series of tools that already use Machine Learning in their algorithms. Esri has actually had Machine Learning algorithms in its geoprocessing tools for many years. By necessity we’ve had these tools to solve geospatial problems – Tools that perform (tools in from slide) if you are already using these tools you are using machine learning in arcgis.

Presentation Notes
Parcel Management - The new generation parcel fabric will introduce 2D/3D editing capabilities and a simpler more efficient approach for parcel maintenance. The new generation of the parcel fabric can be edited from the entire ArcGIS Platform and maintained using the new improved editing functionality of ArcGIS Pro. Offset printing - Color management, spot color support, and support for overprints and knockouts used in offset lithography and commercial printing processes. Parallel desktop geoprocessing using Spark - Spatial-temporal analysis tools that run across multiple cores on a single desktop machine, resulting in increased performance. Dynamic Feature Binning - Dynamic grouping of features as tessellating hexagons or squares in order to visualize areas with greater and lesser numbers of features when displaying data at varying scales. Projects in the Enterprise - Share and collaborate more effectively with others in your organization. Raster Pixel Editor  - Tools enabling interactive DEM editing, thematic raster editing, and image redaction. Tie Point Manager - Tools to analyze coverage and examine the quality of auto generated tie points, with support for manually adding or removing tie points to improve adjustment quality in ortho mapping. Geoprocessing leveraging spatial databases - New options to run certain geoprocessing tools like Buffer, Spatial Join, Select, or Intersect as queries in databases that support these operations, which will result in improved performance. Voxel Layer - Explore large multidimensional space time voxel cubes for scientific applications. Materials (point symbols) - Support for materials and texture properties for point symbols to support reflectivity, roughness, and other renderer properties that will allow ArcGIS apps to assign realistic materials to objects in 3D scenes. Create New Network Dataset - Support the ability to create a new network dataset   Mid-term (next two or three releases) Animated symbols - Symbols that dynamically change to show direction of movement, change in intensity, or fluctuations in value to support scientific temporal visualizations. Materials - Cross-platform support for materials and texture properties to support reflectivity, roughness, and other renderer properties that will allow ArcGIS apps to assign realistic materials to objects in 3D scenes. Multipatch editing in Stereo - Ability to modify multipatch vertices, edges, and faces in the 3D stereo editing environment. Heat Chart - A calendar grid that shows hotspots of data over time, using categories like day of the week or day of the month. ModelBuilder to Python - Interactive Python snippet generation as you build a model. Can be exported to Python script file (.py). Geoprocessing scheduler - Choose to run your tool immediately, or select a date and time in the future to run it, as well as recurrence. Layer blend modes - Control the appearance of layers by blending content using a variety of blending modes. Presentations - Create and share a collection of map and scene views along with titles, graphics, and descriptive text as presentations. GPS Support - Connect, collect data, and update positions directly from a GPS device. Dynamic Feature Clustering - Dynamic grouping of features as proportional symbols in order to visualize areas with greater and lesser numbers of features when displaying data at varying scales. Voxel layer sharing - Share Voxel Scene Layers across the platfrom for use in web, desktop and mobile apps. Python Notebooks - A new Python coding experience integrated into ArcGIS Pro, that allows you to create and run local or portal-based Python notebooks in an interactive interface. New Extensions Aviation: Charting Roads and Highways   Long-term (in the plan but not assigned to a release at this point) Terrain Editing - Edit features participating in a terrain data set.  Add, remove and replace data referenced by terrains. 3D Mesh as Ground - The ability to use integrated mesh or TIN information as a true triangulated ground surface that would be more precise than our raster surfaces and allow structures such as tunnels and mines. High Fidelity rendering - The ability to use material properties for smoothness, glossiness, roughness, and other characteristics to render realistic textures in 3D scenes.
