Ideally located between the “grande dame” New Delhi and its elite corporate neighborhood Gurgaon, only a mere ten minutes away from the airport, Dusit Devarana is a luxury urban resort, rated amongst one of the best luxury hotels and resorts in New Delhi.

Dusit Devrana offers 50 elegantly appointed rooms each spread over 60 square meters of pure luxury living spaces with different mood settings. Kiyan is Dusit Devarana’s “Global Cuisine” restaurant and is a true oasis under the sky. With every plate being a piece of art, selected organic and homegrown vegetables and free range meats, Kiyan features Far Eastern, European and Indian cuisine. The Basics - The 50-room Dusit Devarana, a Bird Group resort, is the first branch in India of the upscale Thailand-based Dusit chain. The Thai architect Khun Lek Bunnag designed the picturesque eight-acre property that opened last year and is meant to be a contemporary interpretation of Indian and Thai sensibilities. It features a 330-foot-long pool as the centerpiece.

The Room -The four categories of rooms range from a basic Premium Garden View to the Devrana Pool. They are uniformly 650 square feet and vary in price only because of their location. Because of light occupancy during our visit last December we were upgraded to the Devarana Pool on the ground floor, which has an veranda adjacent to the pool. The room, like the rest of the property, was a design delight with its slightly curved shape and high domed ceiling. The wooden bed contrasted nicely with a long writing desk and floor, both in a cool white marble. A large white soaking tub was near the patio. An iPad controlled everything from lighting to the 42-inch LED television, and we had a butler, a perk offered to all guests, attending to our every need.The Bathroom -The open layout integrated the bathroom. Two marble sinks were on either side of the room’s entryway and had ample counter space. The toilet area was separated by a door, the oversize shower turned into a steam room with the switch of a button. The luxurious toiletries were from the British brand Asprey.

PARKING SPACE -With more than 280+ more parking space, Dusit Devrana has a very nice and antique parking space.The walls around the valet parking area are quite different. They are plastered with small metallic leaves giving a bluish glow at night. The resort is quite close to NH 8 and the New Delhi airports. And the leaves act as a buffer for the noise.

The floorings of Dusit Devarana were of Australian White Marble. It is one of the most elegant and expensive marble flooring in the world. The approx. cost of this marble is ₹2000 per sq. feet.

The architecture design of Dusit Devarana has efficiently used the topography to its elegance and advantage. The green contour or mount gives a green and clean energy around space.

The materials used in the lobby is Engineered MarbleIt has brute strength and heat resistance, as well as varied colors and styles. Some engineered stone products are made to look like limestone or marble, enabling you to get the look you want but with better performance. This is marble named TERRANOCost – ₹470 per sq. feet

Usually sanitary ware used in Dusit Devarana were of Jaquar and Kohler Brand, but some of there were designer glass sanitary basins of British brand Asprey.This basin set with faucet cost around ₹19,000.
