How to choose the right cornice moulding !An easy way to enhance and update your living space is to install our attractive fibrous plaster cornice moulding at the top of each wall. Cornice moulding can serve as an elegant, finishing touch to any room and is available in a variety of shapes, styles and can be painted in colours to complement the theme of your home. You'll want to pick cornice moulding for each room based on how cosy or formal you want the effect and the height of the ceilings APBS Cornice mouldings come in a huge variety of styles readymade, and can also be used to create a customised look by layering different styles of moulding on top of each other. The taller your ceilings, the wider your cornice mouldings should be. A high ceiling with a narrow cornice makes for a skimpy look, not the dressy effect you should get from a moulding addition. Step 1:Determine the theme and style of the room for the cornice moulding installation. Each room can be finished with a different style and colour of cornice moulding depending on the theme. Simply email or post the height, the width and the depth of your opening.Our fibrous plaster arch will fill that opening. We supply you with the soffit and arch sides as a precast carcase unit. The architrave and keystone, pilasters, columns and corbels etc are supplied and are fitted separately. Arches can be semi circular or semi elliptical. Gothic, Islamic arches or other designs can be offered as bespoke. Place your order and we will send you a drawing for approval and confirm the total cost. We also provide a fitting service.
