Chongqing, with a population of 28,846,170 is one of the fast-est growing cities of china. Such high density creates a se-ries of spaces throughout the urban fabric of Chongqing that evokes the cultural rounded lifestyle of the Chinese socie-ty. Unfortunately, high density population, lack of space, and growing economy are only a few of the factors that are mak-ing the city abandon they’re old traditions and moving into a commercialized society in which historic districts are be-ing destroyed, as a result malls and high rise towers are taking they’re place. Amenities only for a higher class, while the others are slowly being pushed away from the city.
