CPMG is an award-winning firm providing services in architecture and interior design.

Since 1997 we have been growing our reputation for

designing award winning buildings and spaces that

meet our clients’ needs and that are also delightful

places to be, we continue to grow and we have no

intention of stopping. Fast forward to now and we

offer over 20 years of cross sector experience from

our headquarters in Nottingham and offices in

Birmingham, London and China.

We are designing buildings across the UK and

around the world, focusing our designs around

human needs: supporting growing communities,

building homes and workplaces, producing

sustainable solutions, harnessing new technologies,

and cultivating health and well-being.

We work closely with our clients to create buildings that

hold true meaning and purpose. By employing a people-

first approach we are able to go beyond the expected,

building relationships that last long after a project is

complete.

We are responsible for the first PassivHaus accredited

operationally carbon negative commercial office in the

UK, thanks to our team of expert problem solvers.

Our [work]place consultancy starts by getting to know you

your organisation, your aspirations, how you operate, and

how all these elements influence your functional brief. Only

then we will develop the design and with our integrated

team of architects, interior designers and space planners

to ensure that your space is a place where people feel good

The ability to quickly produce 3D snapshots of any

internal space within the building has provided clients

with an understanding of the qualities of rooms and

key spaces. This would simply not be possible with 2D

drawings. A major benefit of this has been the level of

client feedback that can now be provided. We have been

appointed to the BIM review panel of a major national

contractor and are also providing BIM consultancy

services to a regional contractor.

BIM (Building Information Modelling) at CPMG

We are award-winning innovators in Revit® and

have written bespoke software on behalf of clients

to enhance its innate capabilities and apply it

to a particular construction sector. Our deep

understanding of the software allows us to utilise

it across our entire design process.

Our experience in BIM has enabled us to be clear

about our approach and the benefits it brings. We

are registered by the British Standards Institution

as compliant with BIM Level 2 Tier 1 Design Lead

BS1192:2007, PAS1192-2:2013, BS1192-4:2014.

We use Navisworks Manage® to enable us

to better navigate buildings and to develop a

clearer understanding of how processes fit into

the structure and coordinate with the building

services. The Revit models are also used to allow

stakeholders to ‘walk through’ the building to gain

a greater understanding of spatial relationships.
