Overlook Casino | Entomology Lab
The Casinos are a prominent business in Biloxi and the costal area. Built around the coastal line creating a barrier around the community, Most casino’s often have no connection to the community and are a black box that gives the user no sense of time. Using a existing brown field site located at end of Lee st., casino is designed to draw the community to the water front with the redevelopment of back bay dock area.

Jackson 2100 | Urban Planning
This proposal seeks to create a programmaticaly diverse cityscape that fosters economic development, a dense urban population, and an authentic sense of place. This can be achieved using principles of cluster type zoning and land use zoning, combined into a new [BLOCK] zoning. Block Zoning takes conventional zoning practice a step further, providing guidelines which encourage heterogeneous urban programs. The Various program types work to create a comprehensive urban fabric, providing the necessary amenities to make an urban lifestyle desirable. The application of this proposal would secure a successful future for 2100 Jackson, MS. This zoning rules then where applied to fourteen blocks between Pearl St. and Silas Brown St. along with a promenade.

Pearl River Building | Mixed Use
With decades of globalization, cities inner cores have transformed with the spread of its population to the outer boundaries. Leaving cities like Jackson, MS in need of revitalization as key functioning programs have also relocated to the outer edges. In order to revitalize the downtown area, Jackson needs people to live ,and use downtown amenities. Located by near the Pearl Rive the site presents several opportunity to address Jackson's need for residential units and supporting amenities. This mixed use program will contain two main functions that deals with residential and commercial use. The commercial space will be located in the lower levels, with small to medium lease able space to tenants like grocery store, cafe, and offices. While the upper levels will contain mix apartment units, and a mechanical floor.
