It gives us a great sense of purposeful commitment to
announce the Tenth Cycle of the
& Awards. Yes, this year the
awards process is being organised in close
partnership and association with , pioneers in
the sanitaryware segment in India and conforming to
their tradition of being at the forefront of innovation.
They would be playing a key role in the presentation of
these awards. We are very thankful to our former
associate for having very committedly partnered withus all these years and provided a strong foundation to
the instit utionalisation of these Awards. We feel
positive that we would now further cement this
endeavour of uplifting innovation in architecture. The
experience of the earlier cycles has been very
rewarding and educative. Our aim s tands further
strengthened to appreciate architectural so lutions
excelling in functionality, environmental concerns,
aesthetic values and depicting a fresh approach
with respect to the context. This year we
have also included a new category forInterior Design in Residences.
and have pleasure
in invit ing entries for the different categories
and assure the participants of their
commitment to unbiased, honest and fair
ju ry outcomes, respect ing the inherent spi ri t

As architects, one has to achieve the b alance between
client requirements and aspirations with techno logy
and good architecture as well as the landscape within
the m aster p lan. To achieve th is requ ires a comp lex and
committed effort. Today in the world of a rchitecture, as in
the world of business, how well we cope with change will
depend entirely on their willingness to change too and on
