DETERIORATION OF POSTAL SYSTEMS: Since 9/11 we have experienced increasing delays in customer order delivery. We recently had an airmail parcel take 11 months to reach Malta. Transit times to Hong Kong have reached 6 months, and 4 months to Africa and parts of Europe. Such de -terioration is now common thanks to terrorist scum and the forced need for increased security in the mails. Effective immediately, our policy regarding "lost" international shipments will be to take no action for 12 months from the shipment date. If the parcel has not arrived after a year, we may realistically consider it lost, and we will then take steps to satisfy the customer. This is better than nothing for international customers—please bear in mind that many U.S. companies simply refuse to ship anything outside the U.S. at all. For U.S. media mail and priority mail shipments we will adopt a 6 month delay allowance. If your parcel has not ar-rived within that time, we will then take steps to satisfy the customer. If the trend toward longer delays continues, we will increase our delay allowances even further. I cannot afford to take hits on lost shipments—and in nearly all cases in which a loss is feared, the parcel

eventually shows up, even if 2 or 3 months late. You will all have to be patient with the world's postal systems.

APRIL NEW TITLES: Many good ones this time—we absolutely insist that you order big!!!

1. Alley, J. Robert. RAINCOAST SASQUATCH: THE BIGFOOT / SASQUATCH RECORDS OF SOUTHEAST ALASKA, COASTAL BRITISH COLUMBIA & NORTHWEST WASHINGTON FROM PUGET SOUND TO YAKUTAT. Hancock, 2003. Qual. soft, 359pp. First-person accounts from throughout the region. Illustrated, maps, bibliog.., index, a truly excellent Bigfoot title! $19.95

2. Bader, Chris. STRANGE NORTHWEST. WEIRD ENCOUNTERS IN ALASKA, BRITISH COLUM-BIA, IDAHO, OREGON AND WASHINGTON. Hancock House, 1995. Qual. soft, 144pp. We've been out of stock for a long time, but a fresh supply is now here. $11.95

3. Barrow, John D. THE CONSTANTS OF NATURE: THE NUMBERS THAT ENCODE THE DEEP-EST SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE. Vintage, 2004. Trade softbound, 352pp, illus., notes, index. Great brainstorming here—within finite limits, of course. $15.00

4. Bivona, Ginnie S., et al, eds. HAUNTED ENCOUNTERS: REAL-LIFE STORIES OF SUPERNATU-RAL EXPERIENCES. Ariad Pr., 2003. Trade softbound, 253pp, illus. 46 first-person accounts, in the style of Fate Magazine, with an emphasis on Texans and their experiences. Offbeat title, read 'em in the evening, $14.95

5. (Blavatsky, Helena Petrovna). THE LETTERS OF H. P. BLAVATSKY. VOLUME 1: 1861-1879. Quest, 2003. HC, 634pp. First Quest edition of HPB's letters, and they are revealing of Blavatsky's formidably overpowering presence among occultists of the latter half of the 19 th century, a presence very much alive today for those who would take the pains to discover it. $29.95

6. Busby, Michael. SOLVING THE 1897 AIRSHIP MYSTERY. Pelican, 2004. HC, 1st ed., 398pp, sketches, patents, newspaper list, index. The author shows that there really was a secretive group of inventors in the decade before Kitty Hawk, and that their airships fascinated the nation. The fact that many newspapers treated the stories in an April Fool manner does not detract from the intense and competitive work being done at the time to achieve mechanically-powered flight. A thoroughly fascinating and important book! $24.95

7. Canada, Steve. CROP CIRCLES 2003 DECODED, TRANSLATED AND INTERPRETED. The author, 2003. Lg. velo-bound, 403pp. Numerous illustrations & diagrams. 46 of 2003's UK crop circles are deciphered, and found to announce the same Anunnaki names as in prior years. There is also an appendix which gets into the U.S. attack on Iraq (Sumeria), finding corroboration in the crop circles, and other material designed to show that the Anunnaki are indeed up to speed on Earthly politics. $29.95

8. _____. WHY ATTACK AND REBUILD IRAQ, AND WHY NOW? PREPARING THE WAY FOR THE RETURN TO EARTH OF THE ANUNNAKI FROM NIBIRU. VOLUME 1. The author, 2004. Lg. Velo-bound, 346pp. Illustrated throughout. This book suggests that "they" (the U.S. adminis-tration) had to stage the Iraq pageant in order to set the stage for an even bigger event: the re-

turn from Nibiru of the Anunnaki. After we had listed this title in February, the author re-ceived such an influx of new material for it that he was forced to split the work into 2 (with the possibility of more) volumes. Vol. 2 is currently scheduled for April or May release. For now, this is the first volume of an expanding work and an expanding idea. $29.95

9. _____. RA AND THE VATICAN—CROP CIRCLES AND THE RETURN OF RA, THE EGYPTIAN SUN GOD, LORD OF TIME. The author, 2004. Lg. format Velo-bound, 325pp. "Recent Ritual in St. Peter's Square (creation of 30 new cardinals) Reaffirms the Holy See's Continuing Usurpation of Ra's Power." The author argues that the Nibirans were the originators of what first organized spiritual system of mankind, and that over time, many new "religions" sprouted from Nibiran seeds and adapted now garbled and corrupt "mythology" to suit their own new purposes. $29.95

10. Connors, Wendy, compiler. FADED DISCS. UFOLOGY: A PRIMER IN AUDIO, 1939-1959. CD, 2004. Running time about 8 hours. An audio museum of 100 sound bytes dating from 1939-1959 and covering many of ufology's most famous personalities and many of its most famous episodes. All remastered for maximum (if not absolutely pristine) clarity, you will hear Isabel Davis, Jackie Gleason, Lawrence Tacker, Olavo Fontes, Gray Barker, Donald Keyhoe, Ted Bloecher, M. K. Jes-sup, Edward Ruppelt and many others, and you will have one-the scene coverage of Flatwoods, Levelland, Tremonton, Farmington, McMinnville, Lockbourne and numerous other classic cases. If this doesn't restore your love of ufo history and research, send us your library—you've gone to-tally useless and brain dead, and should let others have a shot at your books. $19.95

11. Cook, Nick. THE HUNT FOR ZERO POINT. Broadway Bks, 2003. Trade softbound, 291pp, "In-side the classified world of antigravity technology." $14.95

12. DeLucia, Dean D. HOLLOW EARTH IN THE PURANAS. TGS, 2002. Trade softbound, 138pp. The Vedic-oriented books of Richard Thompson served as the inspiration for this new hollow earth book. It is not a "chapter and verse" scanning of the Puranas, like so many authors have scanned scripture for flying saucers in biblical days. Rather, it's got plenty of standard material—more than half—and is not a bad book at all. $16.95

13. Decker, Rosemary. THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES TO MARS. Galde Press, 2003. Qual. soft, 208pp. Pre-publication Announcement. Rosemary Decker is that rarest of finds—a genuine surviving first-generation UFO contactee. She goes back to the Adamski-Fry-Angelucci era. Her aliens looked entirely human, and provided her with much information relating to Mars, including the ti -tle’s 35 minutes of flying time to reach the planet. For students of 1950s ufology, this book will come both as a surprise, and a rare opportunity for possible questioning which could shed valu -able light on other first generation contactees who are no longer here—the 3 above-mentioned, plus Bethurum, Rowe, Girvin, Probert, Maury Beam, Williamson, etc. NOTE: Galde Press has been pulling our chain on this title for 4 or 5 months now—for as long as it has been listed in our catalogs. It turns out now that the book has not even been sent to the printer yet! You know what that means—a further 2-3 month delay before publication, and quite proba-bly more. Galde Press has acted in a most unprofessional manner here, distorting the real situation regarding this title every time we have checked on it (many!). We apologize to our customers for these continuing days—and if Galde has half a brain she will apologize per-sonally to all persons interested in this title. A disgraceful performance all around! $16.95

16. Donnelley, Ignatius. THE DESTRUCTION OF ATLANTIS: RAGNAROK, THE AGE OF FIRE AND GRAVEL. Publisher not known at press time. Trade softbound. Donnelly's other book, a sequel to Atlantis: the Antediluvian World, devoted to showing that a cometary impact left its destructive mark in the form of "the drift" around the northern hemisphere. $14.95

17. Evans-Wentz, W. Y. THE FAIRY FAITH IN CELTIC COUNTRIES. New Page, 2004. Qual. soft, 576pp, re-issue of 1911 original. The great classic of folklore and faery is once again in print—a fine addition to your library!! $16.95

18. Godfrey, Linda S. THE BEAST OF BRAY ROAD: TAILING WISCONSIN'S WEREWOLF. Prairie Oak, 2003. Trade softbound, 177pp, chronology, bibliog., index, illus. Hairy, wolf-headed crea-tures which sometimes walked upright first terrified witnesses in Elkhorn, Wisconsin in the early 1990s. It (or they?) was still being seen as recently as 2001. Here is a new entry for your crypto-zoological or Forteana section—be first on your block to own one! $16.95

19. Gordon, John. EGYPT: CHILD OF ATLANTIS. A RADICAL INTERPRETATION OF THE ORI-GINS OF CIVILIZATION. Bear, 2004. Trade softbound, 288pp. The author claims that Egyptian civilization is far older—by 50,000 years—than orthodox historians and archaeologists date it. Further, it was structured around "forms of cosmic knowledge that involved astronomical and geo-graphical competence that modern science has yet to attain," and that its culture extended to Tibet and China. He traces its origin to the legendary continent of Atlantis, and "concludes that the sa-cred science of the ancient Egyptians was the legacy left to them by 'fallen star gods,' conscious beings who founded Atlantis." Think outside the box, $18.95 (Delayed—now due May 1)

20. Grange Books, eds. THE WORLD OF THE PARANORMAL: A UNIQUE INSIGHT INTO THE UN-EXPLAINED. Lg. HC, 241pp. Cobbled together from individual issues of the British serial publi -cation The Unexplained. Lotta reading & pictures for only $22.95

21. Hall, Manly P. THE SECRET TEACHINGS OF ALL AGES. Reader's Edition. Tarcher / Pen-guin, 2003. Trade softbound, 748pp, with the full bibliog. & index. Many self-proclaimed "seekers of truth" persist in their self-limiting programming. When it comes to this extraordinary literary and philosophical accomplishment, they operate by the "pennies-per-page" formula, in which if some-thing costs a lot of dough (and The Secret Teachings can set you back $54.95 at the cheapest, and as much as $500.00 for the deluxe PRS version), it will be immediately dismissed in favor of some other cheap paperback product which offers more bulk for the buck. Well, now you no longer have the Pennies-Per-Page excuse for this title. Here is a version in normal book for-mat, which retains the full text of the original, but limits the illustrations to those which are essen-tial to the text. Still the greatest introduction to initiatory and esoteric knowledge—and secret soci-eties—of the ancients, this is a book which should be in every home, and within easier reach than the family bible, at that. Do not miss this opportunity, $24.95

23. Huberman, Jack. THE BUSH-HATER'S HANDBOOK: A GUIDE TO THE MOST APPALLING PRESIDENCY OF THE LAST 100 YEARS. Nation Bks, 2004. Trade softbound, 338pp. "Ap-palling" is a profound understatement for what this sneering little imbecile has already done to un-dermine not only U.S. society, but the very foundations of world stability—and who knows what kind of "October Atrocity" he will come up with as he nears the day this November when he will be heaved from office by American voters. Read this—and other anti-Bush books—before election day!!! $13.95

24. Illes, Judika. THE ELEMENT ENCYCLOPEDIA OF 5000 SPELLS: THE ULTIMATE REFER-ENCE BOOK FOR THE MAGICAL ARTS. Element, 2004. Lg. HC, 1108pp. Spells for all occa-sions and needs (but alas, nothing specific for removing an imbecile from the White House). A marvelous collection spanning 5,000 years of magical history from all over the globe. Great for folklorists, mythologists, paranormal researchers, homeopathic practitioners, and of course for the student of magic. Bargain at $29.95

25. Inman, Thomas. ANCIENT PAGAN AND MODERN CHRISTIAN SYMBOLISM. Bk Tree, 2004. Trade softcover, 146pp, illus., reprint of 1880 original, famous work on ancient symbols. $14.95

26. Jonnes, J. EMPIRES OF LIGHT: EDISON, TESLA AND WESTINGHOUSE AND THE RACE TO ELECTRIFY THE WORLD. Random House, 2003. HC, 2nd prtg, 416pp, notes, bibliog., photos, index. The war waged by small armies of visionary inventors such as Edison and Tesla, allied with capitalists such as J. P. Morgan and George Westinghouse for the right to electrify the world. Ultimately—but not without great personal prices paid—the victory went to Tesla's alternating cur-rent system. A fine study on several different levels, with a few clues regarding the oddities of Nikola Tesla. $27.95

27. Keith, Jim. SAUCERS OF THE ILLUMINATI. AUP, 2004. Trade softcover, paging not known at press time. One of Jim Keith's last books. This version has new introduction by Kenn Thomas and 16 pages of new material. Stock due March 1. $15.95

28. Kennedy, Gerry. THE UNSOLVED RIDDLE OF THE VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT. Orion, 2004. HC, 224pp. Progress at translating the strange volume of unknown script and equally mysterious illustrations is no further along today than it was when the book was discovered by an antiquarian bookseller in 1912. This present book tells the story—and tells you how you might help decode the manuscript. Stock expected 4/1/04, 2 copies extra coming—last chance on this. $36.95

29. Kitei, Lynne D. THE PHOENIX LIGHTS. Hampaton Rds., 2004. Billed as "the inside story of a legendary UFO sighting." The incredible series of sightings of lights over Phoenix on the evening of March 13, 1997, stunned thousands of ordinary people. But Lynne Kitei wasn’t surprised at all—for she had been witnessing the same kind of lights for months previously and was glad to fi-

nally have others verify their reality. She preferred to "stay in the background, anonymously feed-ing information and video clips to many news organizations." In this book she goes public with her story—and dozens of photos. $16.95

30. Krantz, Grover. BIGFOOT SASQUATCH EVIDENCE. Hancock Houe, 1999. Trade softcover, 348pp, 2nd edition revised & expanded. Bibliog., index, illus. Original published in 1992. Classic Bigfoot study, now available in a new and expanded version. $17.95

31. LaViolette, Paul A. GENESIS OF THE COSMOS: THE ANCIENT SCIENCE OF CONTINUOUS CREATION. Bear, 2004. Trade softbound, 373pp, re-issue of Beyond the Big Bang (1995). Relying on the science behind Egyptian creation myths, astrology and the Tarot, the author shows in what sense the ancients were aware of the great themes still being debated and researched by physicists today. Brain food, $20.00

32. Leeming, David. JEALOUS GODS, CHOSEN PEOPLE. OUP, 2004. HC, 150pp, bibliog.., index. The bottom line here is that the Middle East will be an open, festering sore as long as people (es -pecially fundamentalist types of all 3 faiths) fail to realize that "mythology" is regarded as spiritual and philosophical truth by those with vested religious interests, and not as the basis for historical fact. This is made all the more relevant when one ponders—as this book does—the fiercely jeal-ous and uncompromising natures of the deities worshipped by excitable mobs of easily manipu-lated fanatics native to the region. Humanity hasn't learned a thing in the last 10000 years. $22.00

33. Lheureux, Phillippe. MOON LANDINGS: DID NASA LIE? Carnot, 2003. Trade softcover, 211pp, notes, illus. With 22-page chronology of lunar anomalies as reported from 1960-1967 (pre-moon landings). Here's a real "Somebody Else is on the Moon" kind of book—up to date, photo-illus-trated, and scientifically motivated—that you can definitely get your teeth into! Free of contactee contamination and conspiracy-mongering, it is a straightforward attempt to suggest, by way of nu-merous transient lunar anomalies, that there may well be ET activity on Luna. As a bonus, you get to verify that we really did go to the moon 35 years ago. Best $14.95 book in ufology today!

34. Little, Lora and Gregory, and Van Auken, John. SECRETS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD. A. R. E., 2004. Trade softcover, 250pp. Notes, index, photos. With each book that this team of authors publishes, Edgar Cayce's stock goes up more. Yes, these authors are missionaries of sorts, defi-nitely in sympathy with the basically Christian overtones of Cayce's life and psychic readings. However, they show that Cayce's references to time frames, once jeered out of town by orthodox archaeologists and historians, are now being revised by new generations of the same specialists to dates much closer to Cayce's than to their own former estimates. Will such a trend result in Cayce being taken much more seriously in the future? Well, only by using the most common method for correcting botched scientific dogma—perfect 20-20 hindsight. Excellent read, $14.95

35. Mead, G. R. S. SIMON MAGUS: HIS PHILOSOPHY AND TEACHINGS. Bk Tree, 2003. Reprint of 1892 original. Trade softbound, 91pp. Mead's great, if brief, study of the career of Simon Ma-gus, who was a contemporary of Christ, a magician so influential that Nero named him as his court wizard, and whom Irenaeus called "the father of heretics" in the sense that he attempted to bridge early Christian thought with that of Hellenistic magic and medicine of the time. Christianity

is under fatal bombardment today, a campaign nearly 20 centuries overdue, as more and more revelations appear showing how it was nothing but a repackaging of earlier pagan spiritual beliefs—and deities. This book is one such revelation, further undermining the Church of Rome's fake pedigree. $12.95

36. Norman, Michael, and Scott, Beth. HAUNTED WISCONSIN. Trails Bks, 2001. Trade softbound, 226pp, bibliog., index. Re-issue of 1980 original, consisting of 48 goose-pimply tidbits involving ghosts and ghostly terrors. Enjoy, 416.95

37. Pennick, Nigel. SUBTERRANEAN KINGDOMS. Trade softcover, bibliographical data lacking ata press time. This one's been out of print for a long time—here's your chance. $25.95

38. _____. LOST CITIES AND SUNKEN LANDS. Trade softcover, bibliographical data not known at press time. Covers the lost city of Lyonesse and much else. $21.95

39. Phillips, Graham. THE CHALICE OF MAGDALENE: THE SEARCH FOR THE CUP THAT HELD THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. Bear, 2004. Trade softbound, 272p. "Reveals the discovery of an ar-tifact that many experts may be the Holy Grail." This book describes the journey of the "Marian Chalice" from Rome, from where it had been smuggled out as the Huns overran the city, to Eng-land, where it is traced to the attic of the home of an ancient noble family. $16.00

40. Powell, Thom. THE LOCALS: A CONTEMPORARY INVESTIGATION OF THE BIGFOOT / SASQUATCH PHENOMENON. Hancock House, 2003. Trade softcover, 271pp. The locals are the rural folk (mostly) who live in Clackamas County, OR. This is science teacher Powell's report after 16 years of investigation of Bigfoot lore in the area, and it brings the "salt-of-the-earth" aspect of Bigfoot investigation to life, as the "locals" spill the beans about what they know, or have heard about, the rare primate which seems to inhabit the northwest. Fun reading, $19.95

41. Rampa, T. Lobsang. MY VISIT TO VENUS. Inner Light, 1988. Lg. format, unpaged, reprint of the version published by Saucerian Press in the 1960s. Cyril Henry Hoskins may have gone to the Big Potala in the Sky, but his legacy—all those books—lives on. Here is a new issue of his Venu-sian-flavored work. $10.00

42. Redfern, Nick. THREE MEN SEEKING MONSTERS: SIX WEEKS IN PURSUIT OF WERE-WOLVES, LAKE MONSTERS, GIANT CATS, GHOSTLY DEVIL DOGS AND APE-MEN. Par-aview, 2004. Trade softcover, approx. 260pp. Britisher Nick Redfern decided to move to the U.S. in 2001 (where, with his many books, lectures and connections he is holding Ufology together sin -glehandedly). His two monster-hunting friends, Jonathan Downes and Richard Freeman, decide to give him a going-away adventure—a six-week romp in Britain's remotest locations in search of Monsters. All that happens is recorded here, and it shows, if nothing else, that booze and horrible rock music need not be a deterrent to effective cryptozoology in the wild. $14.00

43. Salla, Michael E., (PhD.) EXOPOLITICS: POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS OF THE EXTRATERRES-TRIAL PRESENCE. Dandelion, 2004. Trade softcover, 309pp. Notes (540 of them), index. You know what?? You're all on your own this month with this title. I'll review it next month. You're all ufologists, aren't you??—buy this UFO book and we'll discuss it next time. You've all got to stop

depending on what I say about a book. If you're a ufologist, prove it--buy a UFO book sight un-seen. $22.95

44. Schmitt, Donald, and Carey, Tom. WITNESS TO ROSWELL. Roswell UFO Museum, 2004. Lg. format, 56pp. "The Most Comprehensive Investigation Ever Made Into the 1947 Roswell Inci-dent." You're not going to find this at the big book butchers—get it here, only $9.95

45. Shanks, Hershel, and Witherington, Ben III. THE BROTHER OF JESUS: THE DRAMATIC STORY & MEANING OF THE FIRST ARCHAEOLOGICAL LINK TO JESUS AND HIS FAMILY. Harper, 2003. Trade softbound, 308pp. Color photos. This of course has to do with the discov -ery in Israel of an ossuary bearing an inscription indicating it contained the remains of "James, Son of Joseph, Brother of Jesus." In true human fashion, the affair was so instantly contaminated by the polemics of vested interests on both sides of the authenticity question that any "truth" there may be in the find may never be accepted by anyone except the most shamelessly undiscerning true believers (or true unbelievers). Here's the story (told from the viewpoint of the Biblical Ar-chaeology Society)—You sort out the pieces and the chips. $14.95

46. Spence, Lewis. POPUL VUH: THE MYTHIC & HEROIC SAGAS OF THE RICHES OF CENTRAL AMERICA. Bk Tree, 2003. 114pp. This was the first English translation of the Maya creation leg-end. Trade softcover, $12.95

47. Stewart, R. J. EARTH LIGHT: THE ANCIENT PATH TO TRANSFORMATION. Mercury, 1998. Trade softcover, 162pp. Bibliog., index, illus. Re-issue of 1992 original. Theme here is the faery underworld—where the Little People would take captured humans for a night of drinking and dancing. This "folklore" persisted into the 20th century. Here is the relevant information. $15.95

48. _____. THE LIVING WORLD OF FAERY. Mercury, 1999. Trade softcover, 213pp, bibliog.., in-dex, illus. Another of Stewart's famous faery titles, this one dealing with various aspects of fairy lore, all extracted from hard-to-find books and even rarer ancient journals from bygone centuries. $16.95

49. _____. THE UNDERWORLD INITIATION: A JOURNEY TOWARD PSYCHIC TRANSFORMA-TION. Mercury, 1998. Trade softcover, 298pp. "The Authentic Core of the Western Mysteries Revealed Through Oral Traditions, Celtic Myth and Legend." By now you should know that A) Politics hasn't done it; B) Religion hasn't done it; C) Materialism hasn't done it. It can't hurt to try a radically different kind of approach to the search for happiness and wisdom. $15.95

50. Strachan, Gordon. CHARTRES: SACRED GEOMETRY, SACRED SPACE. Floris, 2003. Trade softbound, 110pp, bibliog.., index, illus. The author theorizes that the appeal of Chartres is owed to "a unique combination of earth energies of the ancient site, the marriage of Christian and Is -lamic architecture, mycistism and the skills of medieval geometers and craftsmen." This is a John Michell kind of study, should appeal to alchemists and geomancers alike. $19.95
