Receive Tax CreditsThere are a variety of tax credits available when you hire a person with a disability, and we can help with the details to guarantee that you receive all necessary reimbursements. Your company may be eligible to receive a New York State tax credit that could result in thousands of dollars for each person hired.

You can save money now with our work try-out programWhen you partner with us, you may receive 100% wage reimbursement while trying someone out on the job.

Get employees’ wages reimbursed during their on-the-job training periodAs an employer vendor, you can also receive wage reimbursement to train an individual in a particular occupation if you agree to hire that person at the end of training. You can be reimbursed up to 100% for the first half of the training, and 50% for the second half.

All of this is at no charge to your business.Staffing SolutionsWith an extensive pool of viable candidates in our client base, you will only receive appropriately qualified applicants to interview. Once we fill your job openings, our support continues with routine follow-ups, on-the-job trainers and additional supports as needed. Ongoing contact is made to ensure employer and employee satisfaction. All of this is at no charge to your business.

Full-Time EmploymentOur full-time candidates are prepared for employment. Some have college degrees, many have valuable work experience, others simply have a strong work ethic and desire to join the workforce.

When you hire an employee in partnership with us, you may also receive the added benefit of a job coach. Job coaches work either one-on-one with an individual or supervise a group of workers to provide on-site assistance to the employer. The job coach will stay with the employee until they are ready to do the job on their own – all at no cost to you!

InternshipsHiring an intern makes good business sense. When an intern joins your team, they bring a fresh perspective to your office and can cut down on your recruitment costs. As you work with your new intern, you’re also training them in your particular business and learning where they will best fit in your organization. Interns can also help your employees do a better job as they will work hard to set a good example for the person operating under their supervision.

We offer both student and adult internships. By working with a student intern, you will gain exposure to a new demographic, guide a person who is excited to learn your business and secure future talent. Our adult internship program helps unemployed adults learn your business and the necessary skills. Once the trainee has a comprehensive understanding and the abilities necessary to perform the job, you will find that they will be the best person for the job.

SubcontractsThe Arc of Ulster-Greene provides subcontract services that can be performed in your place of business. These supervised services employ staff who can assemble items, package products and repurpose materials. We also offer cleaning services, light maintenance, recyclables sorting, and more.

This service guarantees an on-site supervisor to direct operations and ensure satisfactory completion of contracted duties.
