Happy New Year Pacesetters!

Leadership Conference in Orlando was such a great experience! I was excited to

share a room with my longtime friend and offspring director, Lou Cinda Utley.

What a hoot! We had dinner with her offspring directors one evening and then

with my offspring directors the next. I met NEW friends and saw many of my

old friends. The first night I was excited to attend the party at Universal Studios

in Orlando. The entire park was closed for our Private Party! FREE food and no

waiting in lines for amusements.

The highlight was the National Sales Director ceremony honoring Linda Toupin

for her many years of service as an NSD. Instead of giving a farewell speech,

Linda asked people in her life that had impacted her Mary Kay Career to stand

on stage with her. I was honored to be one of those on stage along with her

beautiful family. Many companies would call this a retirement ceremony. In-

stead Mary Kay refers to it as an “upgrade” to Emeriti status. As a National

Sales Director Emeritus, Linda will travel the country working with consultants

and directors in the Mary Kay National Division of the company. She will also

receive a large sum of money each month as part of Mary Kay’s Family Security

Plan for the next 15 years. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Linda

and her wonderful family.

January is a DOUBLE CREDIT month!! You receive double credit both for your
