Part II: Rumor that Aretha Franklin, John McCain, Mac Mills are still Alive.

Hey Guys, Pastor Ivor here. This is my promised follow up guide to the “Is Aretha Franklin in Heaven” video.

The question we’re going to answer here is,

Are the dead still alive? Let’s jump in. The definition of death is the Cessation of Life, right? It is the Opposite of life. The Ability to think, feel, know, function, breathe all come to an end. This is what happened to Aretha Franklin, John Mccain, Mac Miller, and everyone else who has ever died.

A person cannot be both dead and alive and the same time.

Think of it like this. A thing cannot both exist and not exist at the same time. Something cannot be both hot and cold, or wet and dry, or heavy and light at the same time. That is an impossibility. So either the dead are dead or they are alive and not dead, but they cannot be both at the same time.

Ok, Lets take a 2 question quick quiz.

Question 1: If I were to ask a believer in Christ if Jesus is alive or dead, what do you think the answer would be? Of course, He’s Alive! Why? Because though he died, he was resurrected or brought back to life. And the empty tomb was evidence that Jesus was alive.

Had the body of Jesus been found, it would prove that he was NOT Alive? Correct? So Jesus is not dead and alive. He WAS Dead, but Now IS Alive. He was dead for 3 days, and is no longer dead. Correct?

Now, Question 2: Abraham Lincoln, Michael Jackson, your great great great grandparents… Dead or Alive? What’s your answer? Most likely, you’ve said the right answer. Dead! Why? Because they are no longer alive right? You see the dilemma?

Ok, now here where things start to get real confusing… People will claim that Aretha and others are absent from the body and present with the Lord, or present in hell. That means that while the body is in the grave, a fact that cannot be disputed, the “spirit” lives on either in heaven or hell. The spirit does not die.

In this sense, she is dead and alive. Hmmm. But you see this defies logic and reason for something cannot be two opposite things at once.

Something cannot be both dead—the cessation of life, and alive, the continuation of life—at the same time. This is a contradiction in thought, and common sense. It demands the suspension of reason, science, nature, and contradicts what the Bible actually teaches.

So let me lay out a few points: Many paranormal shows have become popular lately where the hosts appear to be hunting down or communicating with the dead.

First, the bible clearly prohibits the act of trying to communicate with the dead.

So what is a consulter with familiar spirits? That was one who claimed to have the ability to communicate with the dead. They were called familiar spirits because these spirits masqueraded as departed loved ones pretending to be alive in the afterworld.

Listen if the dead are really still alive, able to breathe, think, feel, and communicate in another plane of existence, then why would God prohibit us from communicating with them?

Why would God put a prohibition on talking to people who are now alive in heaven?

Think about it, Jesus is in heaven, we can talk to Him. The bible puts no prohibition on communicating with angels. So why can we talk to angels, to Jesus, but not to the people supposedly alive in heaven?

Listen: Whether you are Christian or not, its important to understand what the Bible actually teaches on this. So allow to me dismantle this popular error that dead are really alive.

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

First, the bible tells us that man does not possess a soul, but that he IS a soul.

So a person IS a soul. A person does not HAVE a soul as some separate entity as Hollywood often portrays.

It is the spirit of God that gives us breath. Remember that. Now Let’s see how God himself defined death.

Now check this out, the serpent comes to Eve in the garden and says to her Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

First lie ever told in the Bible is that man could not die, but instead be like God. Immortal, self sustaining.

No wonder almost all religion have this teaching, that the dead don’t really die. From the new age movement to Christians to eastern religions, almost all adhere to some form of belief in a soul which cannot die, almost all teach some form of this first lie spoken by Satan.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Body plus breath of God equals aa living soul. Soul simple means a living being. This is why the bible describes even animals as “souls.”

In speaking of the prohibition on eating the blood of animals, the bible said in Gen 9:4 But flesh

Job 27:3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Adam and Eve eat from the tree, and when God speaks to them of their punishment, listen to what he says. He defines death for them.

Death is a return to the state in which they were in before they were brought to life. Now what was the state they were in? NON-EXISTENCE. No knowledge of anything.

What is it that returns to God??? The Breath…not some disembodied entity! Proof?

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Job 34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

Job 34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

Psa 146:4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Comment….

Psa 6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Psa 115:17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Remember what the Bible said about “familiar spirits”? God’s prohibition on speaking to familiar spirits is because those spirits were really spirits of demons, not loved ones. The bible tells us that Satan and his angels perform miracles that if possible could deceive the very elect. When we know that the dead know nothing, we realize why God is against the attem pt to communicate with the dead. Why, because they are dead…not alive!

The Bible consistently defines death as a sleep.

36 verses in Kings and Chronicles tell us that slept with his fathers. What slept? The soul!, the person!

The Old Testament teaches nothing about the dead really being alive. What About the NT

1Ki 2:10 So David slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting

Joh 11:11  These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Joh 11:12  Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Joh 11:13  Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

Joh 5:25  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Joh 20:17  Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Act 2:34  For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Act 2:29  Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

1Th 4:15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the

2Co 5:6  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 2Co 5:7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2Co 5:8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev 20:14  And death and HELL were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

! Listen carefully ! , if the wicked are burning in hell right now, what sense would it make for hell to be thrown into the lake of fire?

That word hell is the same word translated as gave in 1 Corinthians 15:55.

So Revelation 20 is saying that hell begins to burn at the end of the 1000 years, not before.

The Shocking Confession of a Demon!

Before what time?

What these demons have just revealed is that they are not in charge of hell but they will be destroyed in hell, themselves!

In fact, the Bible says Satan himself will be destroyed in hell—at the appointed time…

Mat 8:28  And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Mat 8:29  And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

And that makes sense, right? I mean, think about it.

How fair would it be that the biggest sinner of them all—the devil and his angels—get to run around on earth causing havoc and ruin while humans who die go straight to hell, thus suffering longer than satan himself?

There is an appointed time for hell fire but that time is not upon death.

It was not prepared for the devil and his angels to rule over, it was prepared for them to be destroyed in… at the end of time, not before.

Satan works to deceive the very elect of God so that they will believe his original lie, that the soul is naturally immortal—“…you shall not surely die.”

Eze 28:16  …I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Eze 28:18  …I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

Mat 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Mat 25:32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: Mat 25:41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Don’t parrot error. Stand for Truth.
