 4. The Wild is 8-5-1 in 14 games against the West this season, and is the only team in the Central Division without a regulation loss inintra-division play (6-0-1). 5. Since Oct. 30, Mikko Koivu has earned a 59.0% faceoff percentage (255-of-432) which ranks sixth in the NHL amongst all playerswith at least 100 total faceoffs. His 342 faceoff wins this season rank sixth in the NHL while his overall faceoff percentage ranks eighth(56.6%). He has led all skaters, Wild and opponent, in TOI in136-of-155 games (87.7%). Since 2008-09, he ranks first in the NHL in TOI/game (26:13) and is fifth in scoring amongst all NHLdefensemen (35-223=258). Ryan’s father, U.S. Olympian Bob Suter, unexpectedly passed away nine days before training camp (9/9).In his memory, the Bob Suter Memorial Fund, “It’s All About the Kids” has been set up to serve the youth hockey community. Jason Zucker has six points (4-2=6) in his last eight games. He has already set career highs in goals (10), points (14) and hits (28)this season. Minnesota is 6-2-0 when he scores this season, including wins the last four games in which he scored. He ranks fourth onthe team with 62 shots on the season, tallying 28 shots since Nov. 24. 12. Darcy Kuemper is 11-9-0 this season with a 2.45 GAA, a .906 SV% and three shutouts. His three shutouts rank T-3rd in the NHLand is a career high. Including postseason, he is 18-6-2 with a 2.03 GAA and a .917 SV% in his career at Xcel Energy Center. Per EliasSports Bureau, he is just the second NHL goalie since 1967-68 to record three shutouts in his first four games of a season (Leclaire,2007-08). The 24-year-old has already set a franchise record this season: longest shutout streak by a Wild goaltender (163:46). He wasnamed the NHL’s Second Star of the Week Oct. 12, after becoming the youngest goalie in NHL history to earn shutouts in each of thefirst two games of the season, the first since Florida’s Roberto Luongo in 2005 (Elias Sports Bureau). 13. Mike Yeo was named the Minnesota Wild’s third Head Coach on June 17, 2011. He has led the Wild to the Stanley Cup Playoffs the last two seasonsafter a five-year absence. Minnesota has posted a record of 119-93-27 (.554) during his four seasons as Head Coach. Yeo, the youngest Head Coach inthe NHL, helped lead the Wild’s previous primary affiliate, the Houston Aeros, to a 46-28-1-5 record and the Calder Cup Final in his first season as aHead Coach in 2010-11. The Aeros led the Western Conference and ranked third in the AHL with 46 regular season wins after it did not qualify for theplayoffs in 2010. Yeo served as an Assistant Coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2005-10). During his tenure in Pittsburgh, the Penguins claimed the2007-08 Atlantic Division title, advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals twice and won the 2009 Stanley Cup championship. He joined the Penguins coachingstaff when Michel Therrien was named Head Coach on Dec. 15, 2005.
