Golfers throughout the Grand Can-yon State (and those who visit this stunning landscape with clubs in

tow) know that the fall season is one of Arizona’s undiscovered secrets.

Fall weather throughout the state is arguably some of the best of the year. Plus the courses boast some of their better ag-ronomic conditions and treat golfers with mid-priced shoulder season golf values. Scottsdale-based OB Sports Golf Manage-ment is working on “cornering the mar-ket”…literally…with spectacular courses

in nearly every corner of the Valley of The Sun and even serving up some truly spectacular golf in Northern Arizona. To that end, here are four featured OB Sports courses that need to be on your Arizona “must play” list.

Eagle Mountain Golf Club Ranked as one of the Top 50 Pub-

lic Golf Courses in the Country by Golf World, the Scott Miller-designed, Eagle Mountain Golf Club has long been a favorite amongst both traveling and

resident golfers. Perched high above Scottsdale, Eagle Mountain pitches and rolls with the dramatic topogra-phy of the property. The golf course weaves its way around these craggy mountain peaks and through shady desert ar-royos loaded with Mesquites, Palo Verdes and Saguaros, making Eagle Mountain the quintessential Sonoran Desert track. The views from the golf course are stunning with the entire southeastern Valley of the Sun on display. Golf course architect Scott Miller designed Eagle Mountain to not only take advantage of the rugged desert terrain, but also to capture your imagi-nation with stunning views and a truly player-friendly layout. In typical “save the best for last” tradition, Miller’s 18th hole is arguably one of the more memorable on the course with dramatic tee to green elevation change and a par 4 that tumbles down a steep slope to a green protected by dramatic bunkering and a shimmer-ing water feature. Cyber-savvy golfers will appreciate that Eagle Mountain Golf Club is continuing their best Advance Booking offering that provides substantial savings to those who make reservations in advance. Golfers save by booking their tee time 8 to 90 days in advance on Eagle Mountain’s offi cial website: eaglemtn.com. “It’s similar to airline models,” said Bret Greenwood, general manager. “Golfers simply book their tee times at least 8 days in advance on our offi cial website to save, in some cases, as much as $140 per four-some.” Since opening, Eagle Mountain has earned numerous awards includ-ing “Best New Public Golf Course” from the Arizona Republic; 4 ½ Stars out of 5

from Golf Digest and was recently ranked amongst the Best Courses Near You in Golf Magazine’s ranking of the top courses in Arizona you can play. It is almost a given that the combination of stunning views, great golf and engaging service, there’s bound to be more awards to come. Longbow Golf ClubOften described as the “Essence of

Arizona Golf,” Longbow Golf Club serves up a desert golf experience that is fi rmly tied to the traditions of the game. Pur-ists appreciate the beauty and challenge of Longbow’s core-golf experience: no homes or roads intrude on the interior of the playing fi eld. And short distances from green to the next tee make walking a pleasure. In fact, Riksha push carts (the same ones at Bandon Dunes, Tetherow and Langdon Farms in Oregon) are

provided and make walking a viable option. Golfi ng guests at the Ken Ka-vanaugh-designed Longbow are typically awe-struck by the sweeping views of nearby mountain ranges (including Red Mountain, the McDowells, Usery Moun-tains, and Superstitions) and the unique blend of aesthetic charm and desert golf challenge lies at the heart of Longbow’s appeal. In fact, Golfweek magazine honored Longbow in 2009 as one of the “Top 100 Resort Courses in the Country” and more recently the same publication ranked Longbow as one of the Top 20 Best Public Access Courses in Arizona for 2010.

Longbow has also emerged as an excellent venue for a variety of competi-tive events. It has hosted many presti-gious tournaments including numerous Gateway Tour events, the U.S. Amateur qualifying, and the AJGA Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic presented by Long-bow (past champions include the likes of current PGA Tour professional and 2010 Waste Management Phoenix Open Champion, Hunter Mahan, reigning 2010 U.S. Women’s Open Champion, Paula Creamer and local talent that included

Amanda Blumenherst, Drew Kittleson, Philip Francis, Trey Kaahanui and more.) In ad-dition to hosting competitive events, Longbow has served as a place for junior golfers to learn the game and hone their skills. In 2010, Longbow joined with The First Tee of Phoenix to open a satellite fa-cility on-property along with the founding of the OB Sports Golf Academy in the same year. The latter represents one of the most comprehensive game improvement programs available to junior golfers; and

in its relatively short existence, several stu-dents have already earned top fi nishes in AJGA events, appearances in the 2010 U.S. Women’s Open and several golf scholar-ships to prominent universities. For more information or to book tee times at Longbow, visit www.longbowgolf.com or call (480) 807-5400. Palm Valley Golf Club Boasting what is arguably one of the

West Valley’s most complete golf experi-ence, the Palm Valley facility is headlined by the par-72, 7,100-yard Arthur Hills-designed Palm Course and the 18-hole, par-62, 4,750-yard Hale Irwin designed mid-length Lakes Course. Both courses offer a creative blend of desert and resort style golf all at a value that is second to none. Both courses are highlighted with a strategic routing that are accented by creative bunkering and interesting yet re-ceptive green complexes. This area favorite is rounded out by complete practice facility

that includes multiple practice tees, short game area and one of the largest practice putting greens in the West Valley. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate Palm Valley’s great location (1 mile north of I-10 off Litchfi eld Road in Goodyear) that is minutes from the Cleveland Indians spring training facility and only nine miles from University of Phoenix Stadium and Jobing.com Arena. All of which makes Palm Valley Golf Club the perfect golf destination to take in a pre-game round of golf prior to attending a professional sport-

ing event. Upon taking over management of Palm Valley in January 2010, OB Sports unveiled a new loyalty program and en-hanced the golf shop offerings and spruced up the popular Fairway Grille at Palm Valley. Long a favorite lunch destination and locale for weddings and special events, ‘The Grille’ gained even more popularity with recent renovations that include fresh paint and the addition of the huge 60-inch fl at screen TV’s bordered by fi ve more 50-inch fl at screens. The recent enhancements make Palm Valley the perfect place to take in a post-round appetizer or libation while

taking in the big game! For those looking for a unique venue for a wedding, recep-tion or special event, the event pavilion features unobstructed views of the shim-mering water features and the surrounding courses. images of Sedona they picture dramatic high desert scenery, striking red rock formations and majestic sunsets. That picture you painted in your mind encapsulates the experi-ence at Sedona Golf Resort. than the highly acclaimed, Gary Panks-designed layout. Located in the heart of one of the most captivating regions of the Southwest, the thrilling 6,646-yard, par-71 course is widely considered among the world’s most unforgettable golf experienc-es. We can all agree that in this great game, perfection is simply unattainable. There are a million and one variables involved in this sport. However, the pur-

suit of perfection in your practice habits may very well make you more consistent, and consistency is the second most frequent request we hear from my students (right behind “I want to hit it farther!”). In 1998 Jack Nicklaus said “You don’t have to hit the ball long and perfect. You have to hit the ball long enough and in play.” So, let’s look at some ways to help make your practice time more benefi cial so your ball is consistently long enough and on the short grass. Below are a few very important tips to help you maximize your return on investment. Set up a “Practice Station”. Your goal in full swing prac-tice is to put an accurate label on why your ball is not going where you want it to, and in order to do that, you need to eliminate as many variables as possible. If you see a consistent pattern of shots landing to the right (or left) of your intended target, you need to rule out the possibility that you are actu-ally aimed to the right (or left) of the target. Before you hit a single shot, take three longer irons (or the bright yellow or orange “aiming sticks” that you now see poking out of nearly every golf bag on the Tour) and lay them down in the manner pictured in the photo. Begin your ball striking session with correct alignment from your very fi rst shot and you will begin to ingrain a higher level of target awareness. Work on your Swing Path/Swing Plane. Cut the head off of a club you no longer need (or get a piece of dowel from Home Depot), stick it in the ground and slide a “pool noodle” down the shaft. If your tendency is to suck the club inside or below plane on the backswing, place the foam obstacle just in-side the target line and practice taking the club back and over the noodle. If you tend to come down “over the top” or above plane, place the shaft just outside the target line and practice coming into the ball from beneath the noodle. The more repetitions you make in a structured practice environment, the sooner thesequence of movements become usable, and more importantly, repeatable on the golf course.

Fall in Arizona means the arrival of cooler, drier, chamber of commerce weather. For golfers, fall

also signifi es the annual return of over-seeding, where most our 300+ courses discard their thick Bermuda summer grass and begin the transformation into lush, green winter Ryegrass.

• The Specifi csOverseeding is a multi-week process that occurs during the months of September, October and November. During overseeding, most courses shut down completely.

• Turf ChangesHere golf course superintendents and their staffs work diligently with the ultimate goal of producing the most aesthetically pleasing and play-able course conditions. One to two weeks before the actual overseeding, courses begin to water less and dry out the Bermuda, creating harder and faster conditions. Then the course is prepped, scalped to the dirt and a heaping dose of Ryegrass seed is put down. With a precise, heavy water-ing cycle and cooler nighttime tem-peratures, the seed germinates and then grows to maturity. Upon reopen-ing, the grass is sparse but eventually will grow to full postcard perfection. In the beginning, greens are slow and heavily sanded. Nearly all course institute a “cart path only” rule until November. This protects the grass

(and the substantial investment) but makes play much slower.

• Playing Tips for the Fairway“When hitting off thin Ryegrass that hasn’t taken hold yet, try to use irons — especially wedges — because they have less bounce,” says Golfer’s Guide contributor and Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher Mike Malaska. “The thick bounces on game-improvement irons won’t work as well because there’s less of a cushion underneath the ball. After overseeding has taken, the lush fairways permit very little roll, so go with a driver that’ll give you as much carry and distance as you can get.”

• Putting Pointers“Switch to a putter with more loft to make it easier to get the ball rolling,” Malaska says. “If you don’t switch, then at least move the ball forward in your stance and remember that there won’t be as much break.”

• Other ConsiderationsAfter overseeding, rates tend to esca-late at the courses.

The time to play a round also in-creases so learn how to play during this time (take multiple clubs to your ball, play ready golf, etc.)

Without proper equipment and/or playing adjustments, you can expect to lose two to ten shots off your nor-mal scores.

A lthough the vibe at GrayhawkGolf Club is way more EricClapton than Aristotle, his fa-

mous quote definitely holds true. That is, experience any of the club’sattractions in a vacuum and you’recertainly in for a day that’s betterthan most, but this belies the fact thatGrayhawk shines brightest when thespotlight is fixed on the whole enchi-lada instead of just the rice or beans.

But let’s be fair, Grayhawk doesrest firmly on the cornerstone of golf:junior golf, daily-fee golf, golf instruc-

tion, PGA Tour golf – been that waysince it opened in ’94. And it wasduring those years that Grayhawkcultivated a unique nexus betweengolf and the various lifestyle-type pursuits that naturally spin off of the game. For example, Grayhawk’sblowout parties that piggyback on the competitive golf event du jour arelegendary. The shopping is more akin to a department store-type expe-rience than a golfer’s auxiliary. Theirversion of happy hour (EmergencyRound) routinely packs the patio. And

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” — Aristotle

Phil’s Grill itself personifies this concept. Lefty’s lair, decked out with a host of his golf memorabilia, provides a comfortable leather-clad“hang” that should be considered amandatory accompaniment to everyround of golf. Perhaps best of all,Grayhawk recently announced a couple new programs that’ll allowyou to tee up, drink up and eat upwithout incurring too big a wallop toyour wallet.

The rise in the popularity of golfover the past couple decades resultedin an unprecedented boom in golfcourse construction across the U.S., ademand that could only be slowed by

the worst recession since the GreatDepression. Despite numerous clubsrunning for the exits, Grayhawk GolfClub continues to tack through therough waters aided by its seaworthycrew and a spectacular facility. Butthey’ll be the first to admit that it’s not about the bricks and mortar.Like Clapton would say, “It’s in theway that you use it.”

TaylorMade Performance Labs (TMPL) has set the industry standard in custom club-fi tting through its six exclusive

locations conveniently located at luxuri-ous hotel and golf properties in San Diego, Palm Desert, Chicago, Boston, Orlando and Atlanta. Through their passion and knowl-edge for custom fi tting, TMPL’s talented staff of club fi tting professionals has been lowering handicaps across the nation. TMPL employs Motion Capture Tech-nology. Originally developed to fi t clubs for TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour professionals, this technology works by gathering vital swing information and statistics via a launch monitor, six high-speed video cameras and a computer to capture the golfer’s swing in sharp, 3-D ani-mation – the same technology used in today’s popular movies and video games. “The visual component that one receivesfrom the Motion Capture Technology is in-credible,” boasted Steve Tolpa, manager of the Boston Lab which is located at the prestigious International Golf Club. “This state-of-the-art technology combined with the expertise of our

highly-trained club fi tters clearly makes TaylorMade Performance Labs golf’s ultimate fi tting experience.” The golfer is fi tted with 34 refl ec-tive markers, placed on stra-tegic points on

the body, as well as on the shaft and head of the fi tting club to capture a number of swings with the driver, iron, wedge and putter. The 2.5 hour custom fi tting experience includes recommendations for every club and even the correct golf ball! Following the swing analysis and club recommendations, demo clubs are built, on-site, with the customer’s correct swing specs so the player can validate the system’s recommen-dations on the driving range. Each customer receives a take-home CD with all captured swings, the swing analysis and motion capture recommendations, view-able on computer and best of all, new custom TaylorMade clubs built to recommended specifi cations are shipped directly to the player in as little as 48 hours. “A golfer will learn a lot about their swing and at the same time have fun testing the latest products,” Tolpa stated. “Our ultimate goal is to give the player confi dence knowing that their equipment is right for them so they will play better and enjoy the game even more.” For more information or to schedule your custom fi tting, visit www.tmplabs.com.

Blending its colorful past as the fi rst ever golf course in the town of Fountain Hills since 1971, with a

recently completed renovation project highlighted by a new state-of-the art irri-gation system designed to keep the course colorful for years to come, the ownership and staff is proud of its tradition and fi red up about the future.

Voted as the No. 1 public golf course in Fountain Hills and Fort McDowell for six con-secutive years (2005–10) by Market Survey of America and hailed by Golf Digest as a 2009 “must play” course in a nationwide survey, the par-71 golf course is an atypical, player friendly desert layout that has become a local institu-tion among golfers in the know. Straying from what is almost always expected from a desert golf course, Desert Canyon delivers a unique look and feel by mixing more tradi-tional desert terrain with mature trees and wide open fairways. The course winds its way through wonderful desert topography, up and down the natural arroyos and canyons that occur only in the Sonoran Desert. With its elevated tees, chal-lenging doglegs and a variety of elevation

changes, Desert Canyon is a course you will never forget. Desert Canyon is inhabited by Cottonwoods, Mesquites and African Sumac trees, as well as fl owering bushes that have matured quite nicely since the course opened nearly 40 years ago. This established vegetation is something that

you’re likely to notice the minute you step foot on the golf course and a feature that newer courses in the area just don’t offer.

Overall, golfers will fi nd tremendous variety in the shaping and routing of the holes at Desert Canyon. Five holes bend to the right, while four others are left doglegs. The par-5 fourth hole is a classic short par 5 with many options avail-able to the birdie seeker. The ninth hole provides a stern test for all. Playing uphill and into the prevailing wind, making par is always something to brag about. Two of the layout’s par 3s are challenging blind uphill tee shots, while the signature par-3 16th hole drops a remarkable 150 feet to the green and is skirted by an assortment of bunkers.

Desert Canyon pays homage to the great Scottish courses with a deep green-side bunker fronting No. 17. Players will have to tread carefully to dig out from the depths if they fi nd themselves peering out over the lip of this treacherous hazard. With dramatic panoramic views of spec-tacular Red Mountain, the Four Peaks,

Superstition Mountain and the world’s fourth tallest fountain, Desert Canyon is a distinctive golf experience. The staff at Desert Canyon truly believes the new and improved irrigation system is the miss-ing piece of the puzzle that will align the course with Arizona’s elite. The refurbishment undertaken at Desert Canyon, which began in late 2008, included the replacement of more than 1,600 sprinkler heads and six miles of irrigation main line piping. Expansion of the manmade lake near No. 1, new controllers and valves and a new pump station complete the project. The cost of this overhaul was more than $2.2 million - a signifi cant investment to ensure that locals and out-of-town travelers would enjoy the perfect golf experience. En-hancements resulting from the rejuvena-tion effort will be noticeable during and between shots.

with a well-maintained and enjoyable golf course by modernizing the way it waters, the town of Fountain Hills made a name for itself by designing a device that spewed water skyward like no other built before it. Shortly prior to John Allen con-structing what was then a nine-hole golf course known as Fountain Hills Country Club, the young town of Fountain Hills hired Robert P. McCulloch to build a high powered fountain it hoped would bring it instant recognition. The idea worked, and at the time the fountain, which can reach up to 560 feet when all of its work-ing parts are operating under optimum conditions, was the world’s tallest. The fountain held the record for more than a decade, and was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Opened in 1971, Desert Canyon has the distinction of being the fi rst golf course in Fountain Hills. The original Fountain Hills Country Club was opened with the intention of luring people who wanted to buy land right next to a beautiful piece of property to the town. Ten years ago the facility became the public Desert Canyon Golf Club. Over the course of the decade, the golf course carved out a unique niche in Fountain

Hills, which is also home to four other upscale public golf courses. That dif-ference in playability is what separates Desert Canyon from the pack and gives the course a higher retention rate than its competitors. At 6,489 yards with a reasonable rating/slope of 69.9/125 from the farthest set of tees, Desert Canyon manages to be a challenging test without being unman-ageable for the high or mid-handicapper. The landscape is highlighted by water, views of one of the most unique moun-tains in Arizona, Red Mountain, rustic desert washes and arroyos, magnifi cently manicured Bermuda greens and a bevy of elevation changes, rather atypical for desert golf. In fact, the rising and falling nature of the topography necessitated a more modernized irrigation system. “They’ll (golfers) see improvement with the correct amount of water to every spot and everything will be green,” said Karl Boettcher, long-time general manager at Desert Canyon Golf Club. “The improvements will have a visual impact and a bona fi de impact on the quality of golf.” For more information, visit www.desertcanyongolf.com or call (480) 837-1173.

Are you looking for a golf experience unlike any other? Does the unusual, yet beautiful, excite you? If you answered yes to either of these questions,

then you are ready for Quarry Pines Golf Club. The Pines represents an evolution in golf course design and the enjoyment of the game. Ten years ago, following a decision to abandon the sand and gravel quarry adjacent to the original golf course, the Town of Marana and the quarry/golf course owner agreed on a plan that would reclaim the quarry. By strategically relocating ten golf holes into the old quarry and reconfi guring eight of the existing holes, one of Tucson’s most popular golf courses was transformed into an even better product. Today the unique desert landscape is highlighted bydramatic elevation changes and the addition of thousandsof trees. We invite you to come play Quarry Pines – Arizona’s only quarry golf course!

Tucked away from the busy city, along the south-ern edge of Phoenix’s South Mountain Park, sits the beautiful Club West Golf Club.

Open since late 1993, the Brian Whitcomb and Ken Kavanaugh design snakes its way through 90 acres of rolling desert and mountainous terrain. Whitcomb and Kavanaugh took full advantage of the foothills and promontories of the lower slopes of South Mountain. Only a few holes on each nine can be characterized as level. From the fi rst tee to the 18th green, the eleva-tion varies by as much as 100 feet. Club West’s signature hole, the par-3 17th hole, is routinely voted one of the best par 3s in the state by the golfers of Arizona and is an exhilarating confi guration of two greens—both tucked into the hillside with steep vertical drops below the teeing areas—reached by hit-ting from a precipice as much as 217 yards away.

In 1995, Las Sendas Golf Club opened to rave reviews and quickly took its place as both Mesa’s and the East Val-

ley’s premier golf facility. Las Sendas was designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and holds the special distinction of being his fi rst Arizona creation. The course itself is a demanding, desert-style par-71 layout that winds its way through an exclusive, master-planned community and the area’s scenic Usery Mountains. Las Sendas has consistently been rated in the Top 10 in Arizona and according to two Zagat Surveys, is the 12th most challenging and one of the top 100 courses in the nation. With six sets of tee boxes, it’s still very fair for the mid to high handicapper. Last November, Lloyd and Wayne McBean, Ken Elias and Ian Warrack, all of Calgary, Alberta Canada, along with Phoe-nician John Musil, purchased the club. Their extraordinary vision was to remodel the facility’s assets, pave the cart paths and provide the necessary improvements that are expected at a world-class golf facility.

The consortium’s ingenious business model was to raise additional funds by syndicating 50 percent of the assets to local residents, friends and family. In less than three weeks, the ownership group sold all of the investment units and funded their entire project. Las Sendas Golf Club is now a debt-free facility with an incredible upside. Three dining establishments, including the fi ne-dining Bogey’s Steak & Seafood, have already opened. A state-of-the art golf shop as well as member locker room facilities are scheduled to open this fall. The 2nd phase of the capital improvement plan includes additional banquet facilities private card rooms, member’s health club and a new patio dining deck. Located at 7555 E. Eagle Crest Drive, at the intersections of Power and Thomas Roads in Mesa, Las Sendas Golf Club is less than 20 minutes from Sky Harbor Air-port and readily accessible from all parts of the Valley. Y ou are cordially invited to experience Sedona’s origi-nal championship golf course, Oakcreek Country Club. Designed in 1967, Oakcreek is not your typi-

cal Arizona golf course. Oakcreek Country Club, a semi-private facility, is per-

fectly set in the unchanging magnifi cence of the world re-nowned Red Rock Country and promises golfers a bonafi de test of their playing abilities while simultaneously providing them an abundance of pleasing, visual memories.

Remarkable, well-manicured, picturesque, lush, green, are all appropriate terms to describe this traditional par-72 layout. The fairways are classic, tree-lined doglegs with wall-to-wall grass and numerous bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas. The undulating greens are slightly elevated and guarded by large, swirling bunkers. Overall, Oakcreek is “player friendly,” allowing plenty of margin for error but always giving the golfer an opportu-nity to recover.

Oakcreek is located just 90 minutes north of Phoe-nix and should defi nitely be high on any golfer’s Arizona “must play” list.

The accolades keep coming. Desert Canyon was just named “Best Places To Play” by Golf Digest! This honor, combined with Market Surveys of America’s award of

“Best Public Golf Course” six years in a row (2005-2010), means that Desert Canyon should be on your golf agenda. Desert Canyon is a challenging yet playable experience. The course winds its way through wonderful desert terrain up and down the natural arroyos and canyons that occur in the Sono-ran Desert. You’ll fi nd tremendous variety in the layout as well: fi ve holes are doglegs to the right; four holes are “left benders.” Two par 3s are blind uphill approach shots while another, the signature 16th hole, is a dramatic downhiller skirted by bunkers. Players won’t want to miss the tribute to the great Scottish courses, so peek into the depths of the front left trap on No. 17. The ninth hole, at 397 yards, provides a stern test for all. Playing uphill and into the prevailing wind, making a four on this hole is always something to brag about. With dramatic panoramic views of spectacular Red Mountain, the Four Peaks and the tallest fountain in the world, Desert Canyon is truly a unique golf experience.

Golfer’s Guide Magazine is teaming with Harrahs Entertainment and some of the fi nest golf courses in Las Vegas to off er its readers a memorable event that combines competitive golf and gaming into one unforgetable four-day Vegas vacation.

The inaugural Golfer’s Guide National Team Classic tees off this coming February on three of the best courses in the Las Vegas area bringing a unique and entertaining event to one of the most fascinating cites in the world.

With competition beginning Feb. 21, family, friends and even foes will have the opportunity to team up over three rounds of 2-man competition in better-ball, alternate shot and captain’s choice formats. The tournament will be staged at the famed Rio Secco Golf Club, Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock and Siena Golf Club, all of which provide the unrivaled scenery, challenge and fun that golf in Las Vegas is known for.

When away from the golf course, the National Team Classic home base will be The Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, where gaming and partying will be in full swing. All tournament participants receive four nights at the luxurious casino and one free entrant into a $10,000 Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament following the fi rst day of competition (Monday, Feb. 21).

Each contestant will receive $4,000 in tournament chips with optional buy-ins during the fi rst hour of the poker

tournament. The winner will take home, or at the very least to the gaming fl oor, $2,600 with the runner up pocketing $2,000. In addition to the tournament, Golfer’s Guide will host a welcome reception on Sunday, Feb. 20 and a tournament-ending awards party on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

For the most avid golfers, however, the real action will take place on the terrifi c links of Rio Secco, Siena and Arroyo. Surrounded by the towering Spring Mountains, Sienna features gently rolling fairways and artful bunkering, as well as stunning views of the Vegas skyline.

Arroyo, a sister course to Sienna, ribbons seamlessly through the rugged terrain of the fabulous Red Rock Canyon, one of Las Vegas’ most revered natural landmarks. For its part, Rio Secco is among the most acclaimed courses in the desert. Located at the base of Black Mountain, the course provides a world-class experience unlike any other off the Strip.

The cost of the event $1,999 per two-man team and includes three rounds of tournament play, four nights at the Rio, one entry into the poker tournament and two receptions.

For more information on the Golfer’s Guide National Team Classic visit www.nationalteamclassic.com or call 866 999-4653. Be sure to be on hand the week of Feb. 21 where golf, gaming and good times converge in way only Las Vegas can deliver.
