Arizona State Flag

The state flag of Arizona has a copper star in the center representing the copper mining industry in the state.There are 13 red and yellow stripes representing the 13 original US colonies and the western setting sun.The bottom is blue, representing liberty.Arizona State Seal

The state seal was adopted in 1911.The miner represents the states mining business.The fields represent agriculture (farming).The mountains and sun represent the comfortable climate.State Bird: Cactus Wren

State Flower: Saguaro Blossom

The state flower is the saguaro (su-wah-ro) blossom.It is white with a yellow center.Each flower blooms for one night only. Blossom season is during May and June.
