Championship which was organized by Karate Federation of

Gandhidham in co-peration with Arya Samaj & Marvari Yuva

Kabbadi Tournament on 12/10/15

Physical fitness and healthy mind is all what makes a bright child.

A Kabbadi tournament was organized by Atmiya Vidyapeeth on 12/10/15 where in students participated energetically and passionately. Students were divided in two categories i.e Juniors and Seniors. Among Juniors (Std VI to VII), the semi final match was conducted between Atmiyan Lions and Atmiyan Titans and the final match was between Atmiyan Titans and Atmiyan Dabang. Similarly among senior category, semi final was conducted between Atmiyan Warriors and Atmiyan Bulls and the final match was played between Atmiyan Bulls and Atmiyan Tigers.

Gujarat State Karate Championship, 2015

& 16th

August, 2015)

Karate is one of the self defense martial art and Atmiya Vidyapeeth always gives a platform for the students to perform this essential martial art. “Nihon Karatedo Shubukai Shitoryu-India” had organized Gujarat State Karate Championship at Sasan Gir on 15th and 16th of August, 2015. Students from many schools had

participated in the event, and two students from Atmiya Vidyapeeth took part in the competition.

Janhvi Bhati of STD II and Aryan Bhati of STD VI brought laurel to our school by securing SECOND position and they were honored with certificate and silver medals. The students were congratulated and appreciated by our Principal.

‘Inter-School Girls Volley Ball Tournament’ organized by O.P Jindal School, Mundra on (05-08-2015)

O.P Jindal School, Mundra organized an „Inter-School Volley Ball Tournament for boys, Under 14, on 5th & 7th August, 2015 to promote sports amongst the

students of the schools.

The tournament saw an enthusiastic participation from the boys Volley Ball

team from Atmiya Vidyapeeth, Adipur and they brought laurel to our school by securing SECOND position in CBSE CLUSTER TOURNAMENT.

District level rifle shooting competition ( 03-08-2015)

Atmiyan hits the bull’s eye!!!!!!!!!!!!

A riffle shooting was organized by Sports Authority of Gujarat at KPS on 03-08-15 at district level. Eight students participated in this tournament in which two of our students took part in under 17 category, namely Shivam Bhadra and Dhruv Goswami of STD IX. Among them, Shivam Bhadra secured FIRST position and is selected for State level.

Atmiyans Secured 2nd Position in Whole Kutch Region in Subroto Football Championship on 15/07/2015

Atmiya Vidyapeeth had participated in Subroto Football championship, under

14 on 15th July, 2015 which held at St. Xaviers High School, Gandhidham. 15 schools participated in the tournament and our school stood 2nd position

in whole Kutch region.

FENCING STATE LEVEL COMPETITION

Students of ATMIYA VIDYAPEETH participated in State level FENCING held at Deskoi,

Ahmedabad on 23.09.2013. In this tournament 28 schools had participated. Among these,

NANCY BHACWANI of Std. 4thsecured the second position in the State Level

Competition. It is the matter of pride that among 28 teams, our school got the second

position in State Level Fencing Competition 2014-15. She was also selected in National

Level Competition. They were escorted by the Coaches, Mr Nilesh Patel and Mr. Shanker

Shetty.

STATE LEVEL ATHLETICS COMPETITION 2014-15

ATMIYA VIDYAPEETH participated in state level Atheletics Competition held at

Sports Complex Ground at Devgadh Bariya, near Dahaod on 21.02.2015 &

22.02.2015. Around 380 Students from all the districts of Gujarat had participated in

this competition. Among them, two of our School Sports Stars brought pride to our

school by winning this competition. were escorted by Mr. SHANKER SHETTY

COMPETITION (08-02-2015)

The Students of our school participated in Kutch Open Athletics Competition held at

Gopal Stadium, Adipur. Among them, the following students made our School proud:

Among these students, Binsu Annie Philip, Radhika Chudasama & Bhargav Thakker are selected for State Level Competition. They were escorted and guided by Mr. Shanker Shetty who got the Medal for the Best Referee of the Match.

FOOTBALL TEAM OF ATMIYA

Boys team of Atmiya Vidyapeeth, (Under -14) participated in Football Match. organised by

Neptune United Football Club , Gandhidham on 07-02-2015 & 08-02-2015. In that match, our

school defeated Aadarsh Mahavidhyalaya in Penalty shoot out. In quarterfinal match, our boys

team defeated Modern High School, Gandhidham by 2-1. In semifinal match we lost against KV

Iffco school, Gandhidham.

Our school boys team got lots of appreciation by the members of Neptune United Football Club .The Football team was escorted by our Sports teachers: Mr. Nilesh Patel & Mr. Shanker Shetty.
